    god, this is awful...

    I think that the guy with the halfmask has some way to rebuild his hollowmask, and through that limit his power, sort of reversed Anncaration...

    Yeah I think it's that the more mask he loses to more power he gains. Like its stored in his mask and if that breaks the power is released. Meh I can already see Kira cutting the wings of that guy a few times to make them so freakin heavy they just get ripped off my their own weight. Especially now that guy said that the feathers are heavier and stronger then rock.

    That makes too much sense, unless the guy's 2nd form is actually achieved by cutting down his own wings (aka fallen angel).
    otherwise, that idea is too good, and won't fit bleach school of non-sense fights.

    edit: what I meant about the mask was that he can go back in his arrancar transformation, and therefore reduce his power back to one of a normal hollow.
