Voting: Round 1 - Tier 1 -- Eye

OK, the voting for round 1 finally begins. The object for this bracket was eye(s).

Just a few things to be aware of:

1) all participants MUST vote (including ones who dropped out). Each poll should have at least 18 votes.
2) You cannot vote in your own bracket. How do you know what bracket you're in? by looking at the title and not voting for the object that you were sent in the pm.
3) Voting is open, we everyone can see who voted for who.

I know the original layout required 2 people being voted off this round, but since not all participants have sent in their entries, that is no longer possible. Oddly enough, most brackets are missing exactly 2 participants, so things work out rather well.

For the polls with only 4 choices, obviously everyone will move on. The voting is just for fun and to let everyone see their work.

Gotta say, I think the Eye group had the most overall creative pictures. I honestly can't decide which I like more: 1, 2, or 3.

I was originally in the eye group and I must say, I probably would have won if I actually had a camera.

With that said, the Xbox one impresses me the most. I like improv and that was good improv.

#3 is excellent. great imaginative idea, good presentation, and the lighting works well enough.

It was a toss up between 3 and 5 for me but I voted 5 because I thought it was more clever. I would have gone for 3, had the presentation of the 'food' on the plate been neater. The idea is really good but I think it could have been executed better.

In that case, I am 99.2% certain Eye1 is Masa's.

This next one is more of a shot in the dark, but Bagandscalpel did Eye2 while DS submitted Eye5.

I can't believe contestant 2 is losing to 3. 2 is so much more artistic and creative. It also makes better use of a camera, since this is a photography contest as well.

I wonder if maybe its lack of originality is the problem? I think I've seen something similar somewhere before.

Well.. not everyone agrees on things that they like or find interesting. I liked #2 because they technically must have taken 3 pictures to get that (at least I think so), and it was a cute set up.

I really can't imagine how a dead cat would have been a better representation of "eye" than Jack the Pumpkin King.

I can't believe #3 is winning this by a landslide. #5 and #2 were my favorites and none of the others really appeal to me in terms of creativity and presentation.

I left in 0.8% chance that Masa might not have used that, while another member may well be another Hentai Trader. But yes, I based my judgment on that.
