    TV: In Plain Sight

So, who watches this series? Season finale of the first season airs tonight... episode 11.

I don't know about you guys, but I don't remember ever watching a show about a US Marshal, so I've enjoyed this quite a bit. I think you guys who are enjoying Burn Notice will like this.

Main character is played by Mary McCormack (The West Wing), and for some of you The Shield fans, her sister is played by Nichole Hiltz (the stripper that Shane screws a couple of times, including the famous interrogation scene). Another notable is Paul Ben-Victor making a fool of himself as always.

It's a case of the week series, but there's a background drama/plot going on through the whole series connecting one episode to the next, hence why I think people that enjoy Burn Notice might like this; also a series from the USA Network. Cases are fairly fun and there's some character development... so far I'm liking this show.

In Plain Sight follows the story of a Federal Marshal with the Witness Protection program who must hide her high-risk, high-impact job from her family. To those that know her, Mary Shannon is a glorified meter maid, but her real job is much more dangerous. She must oversee federal witnesses who have been relocated through the Witness Protection program and make sure that they stay safe.

The series stars Mary McCormack in the title role and Lesley Ann Warren as her mother, Jinx. (Working title - Mary Sunshine)

In Plain Sight is produced by Universal Media Studios for USA Network.

I've been watching it, so far, I think it's pretty cool and interesting. But I've become a recent watcher of these types of shows :O especially the USA ones.

    Well here's episode 11:

And yep, those USA shows are pretty good... nothing stellar, but they're quite fun and easy to watch.

As for episode 11, it wasn't the finale... finale is next week. But, this is a two episode story arc apparently (though the plot had been building since the first episode of the series) that looks like it'll be quite good. Episode 11 was pretty good; we learned a lot about the family's past and the shit really hit the fan in the episode.

Koyuki, hope you enjoy it. Pretty sure you watch Burn Notice, and if you do, I don't see any reason why you won't like this one.

Thanks for the links Koyuki, you too Munsu. My girlfriend has been following this and I've been watching it with her when I get the chance but I can't really get into it. Missed a few episodes though so the links are much appreciated.

Well.. you know, the guy's still after them. If he's not caught or something, the people putting people in witness protection are going to have to be put in witness protection XP

McCormack was awesome in this episode, especially in the scene where she claims she's superior to the rest of her family. Great scene in my opinion. Even though it lacked action, I thought that the drama was pretty good. I wonder how many people will sniff some chalk sliding into home plate.

For the few of us that were following this series, I just noticed that the series returned tonight. Thought it was a bit early for summer programming.
