Haha...great chapter. This setup reminds me of that old home alone game I played for the NES, where you have to run around the house and hide from the enemy until the time limit expires.
I'm curious to see what Bege can do. He never struck me as any sort of fighter.
...actually....I suppose this setup isn't too much different from Enel's game....

I'm kind of dissapointed from roger.. we all thought that he was such a badass to read the stones, but it turns out he was some sort of psychic druid with telehearing... a let down.
I suppose that the "I don't want you to tell us!" speech was invetable. it just feels like something for the first 100 chapters, doesn't really fit.
brooke's comment was great as usual.
whoever said the jewel girl could control her age (a few chapters ago) was right, well done.
the part where Zoro goes to groove 1 by mistake can still happen, so maybe there'll be a "save zoro" mini-arc...

Thinking back....this arc really is more intense than i realized...imagine telling someone who watches the anime that the strawhats + Hachi end up on an island with....

Who do you think it was that Luffy saw at the end? At first I thought Garp but the way Luffy spoke to him it doesn't seem right. Maybe Dragon? (Unlikely I know but I can still wish...)

Dragon would be a good guess in my opinion. Most of the people that would see Luffy personally would be (at least at this point) very very powerful. On top of that, anyone showing up in front of him purposely like that, currently in the series, would also be very surprising and a good chance, new to us readers, and extremely powerful in some way. I also seem to think that it's a good guy. I don't think Oda has anymore bad guy good fights planned. And if he does, it's going to be a good guy to help Luffy and balance it out. I'd be very surprised if it was a bad guy to take the SH crew out.
On a side note. Kizaru is a logia user. Oda made that known very quickly and in the easiest way with the pirate shooting him in the head and it not having any affect on him, also smoking out the back of his head. And future prediction, I think Akainu (the last admiral) is also a logia user. It only makes obvious sense that Oda is going down that path.
When Naruto and Bleach are disappointments, One Piece never fails.
Alot of stuff going on though and Kizaru is yet another strange one.

Definitely can't go on forever. Each arc manages to keep itself fresh cause there's always a clear progression to an even clearer conclusion in the story. The least-liked arc seems to be Skypeia, most likely because nothing progressed...neither the introduction/defeat/alliance of major characters, nor the change in the strawhats' bounties.
Oda's going to have his work cut out for him to top this arc.
