I laughed a lot at this episode its nice to see that while they do have fanservice in this that they actually put the plot first. All of the fanservice has furthered the plot to some decree. I really don't get whats not to like about this series though its not nearly as generic as some claim and its a lot more fast paced then a show of this type usually is dancing around many of the annoying pitfalls of a romantic comedy with ease.

After four eps I'm liking this a lot more than I anticipated after the very generic feeling first episode. But indeed, like has been said, this is moving surprisingly fast and it's almost conceivable some romance might happen instead of only comedy. The not so subtle Shana reference was great as well.
I'm looking forward to seeing the supposedly uber strict father.

It would be hilarious if her father was also a closet otaku.

Jealousy showing in the goddess? Blasphemy!
Yuuto really does know when to do and say things though. I'm actually qutie glad they took the friends, but rivals approach rather than the lover-nemesis one. Sure, you get a lot of spark out of those, but boring and redone ones. I hope this means we'll see more slice-of-life, but some more meaningful character developments, especially when both girls come to realise they like Yuuto, but so does the other.
World-class piano player by sheer talent? I wish I could share some of that. My own skills have declined rapidly from my lack of regular practice.

I have a feeling the coincidence girl must already be noticing something but Haruka is so out of everything that she's going to take a longer time, no doubt. It's prettty sweet, though, that she's already feeling something even if she's not consciously realising what she's feeling.
But I'm still waiting most to see Haruka's father of Prussian discipline. It'll of course be even more interesting if he comes back to find not only her daughter even more engrossed in anime and manga but also seeing a commoner.

The dad was badass - or was until the mom appeared. Kind of an overused theme but it worked well enough for this story and setting. Still, it was all resolved in just one episode, which surprised me somewhat. I was expecting the prussian dad issue to take at least a couple of episodes, considering how it was foreshadowed.
Still, can't complain if the story is moving forward. It certainly has more in this series than in most romance-comedies.

Ha, Private Army FTW.
Does that mean Haruka's living with Yuuto for now? This would turn interesting, as well as all the rumours that will spread.
Perhaps something will happen, (parents moving out for work), and the red haired girl (forgot her name, but she needs more screen time) may move in with them, making the house a complete harem (if it's not already).
I agree, the Dad rocks, and he'll need to stick around.

It would be kind of strange if Haruka stays there in Yuuto's house. I mean, logically it makes no sense but would be dubious otherwise. She only ran away from home because the ass kicking dad obliterated her hobby. But now that the mom intervened, that shouldn't be a problem anymore. And is it, Yuuto and Haruka aren't yet officially even dating, and even if they were, there's absolutely no reason for her to stay. I expect she only was left behind now to sort out any unresolved issues before she goes back home.
At least I hope this doesn't turn into a mindless harem anime.

Girls are stupid, Haruka is a girl, therefore, Haruka is stupid.
It's too bad Yuuto actually has the hots for her, Shiina seems like she'd be much less retarded about encountering him in a compromising situation. This is not to say poor innocent maiden Haruka is wrong for her understandable reactions, however I've lost my patience for the poor innocent maiden schtick.

What I find funny is that Yuuto never explained her what happened.
Haruka's reaction made sense in an exaggerated way keeping in mind she hadn't realised she loves Yuuto. So, she didn't really know why she was so shocked and thus doubled the effect for herself (I guess that works in fiction, sounds like bs otherwise...).

Agreed Kraco, fiction is what saves the situation from inducing hate for me. I think all poor innocent maidens have to go through this.
And yeah I did find that kind of funny, all he really said was "it's not like you think". However since she wants to be with him anyway I don't think that she actually cares what actually happened, only that he wasn't trying to make out with Shiina (unfortunately).

Shiina, on the other hand, looks like she won't mind a little private session with Yuuto. Maybe not right away, but she definitely likes him. And though Yuuto isn't really thinking about a relationship with Shiina, his good nature is what will stop him from drawing the line.
Also, in certain shots, it looks like Haruka has proportionally thick legs.

Edit: Fanservice... Not bad. Other than that I think at this point Yuuto should be more sure of himself than what this episode makes him look like. Sure, he might feel insufficient in some ways seeing the extravagance of the island, and he might feel ashamed to give such a present in such a company, but at least he should know the very receiver of the gift will welcome it very warmly.
I guess the geezer was Haruka's grandfather or something. Seems like an agreeable fellow.

I can't believe there's only one more episode. That's depressing.
There's always someone who has no chance at all that gums up the works.
