Good casting. I'm a big fan of the games so I'm looking forward to this one. The trailer was pretty good, nothing too exciting.
*Edit - I just found out this is being filmed as PG-13. That makes it... not as good.

I was worried about the last die hard movie being pg-13 but they made it happen.
I don't know if I'm going to see this though, not many game to movie titles really interest me - like hitman.
Having played through both MP titles on the pc, I'm excited about this one. Marky Mark's gonna be Max!!! I've got no problem with Mila Kunis taking on the role of Mona, but I can't help but think of Meg Griffin's voice lol.
It also appears that there'll be some of those "dream" sequences similar to ingame. That's a nice touch and the bullet time effect around the 1:10min mark with the shotgun looked pretty damn cool. I know this effect is somewhat dated so I hope they don't over do it.

The explanation for those dark angels or whatever they are could be that It's a reference to Norse mythology. The drug featured in Max Payne is called Valkyrie, and the Valkyries of myth were female servants of Odin. They are associated with wings; winged helmets, winged horses, or winged themselves. They carried the bravest warriors fallen in battle away to Valhalla.
