    Naruto Uncut Complete

So a special is up on Amazon.com right now: http://www.amazon.com/Naruto-Uncut-C...657479&sr=1-12

The first 10(and really, the only ones that matter) volumes of the Uncut Naruto anime series.

I could not be happier with the fact that Volume 10 ends at EXACTLY the end of the Sasuke Chase arc. Which means my collection will have no fillers but the Tea country ones. No cat Mizuki on my DVD shelf thank god!

Yeah, if it follows the pattern of the individual volumes, the price will drop in half two weeks after it comes out.

As it is its a good 50 bucks cheaper than buying all 10 at release price.

Looking good.. great that it ends just in time.
But it isn't cheaper then when you look at the right stores. I buy my DVDs at www.dvdpacific.com and the uncut DVD boxes are $31 there. So that would be $310 for the whole set. Saves you $40 from the Amazon set. Positive side about DVDpacific is that the shipping costs are insanely low, even when shipping abroad.
I'm thinking of importing them, since the european version of the DVDs suck ass. (see my topic about that)

    Amazon...
    Vol 01 $44.99
    Vol 02 $43.99
    Vol 03 $39.99
    Vol 04 $44.99
    Vol 05 $24.99
    Vol 06 $29.99
    Vol 07 $21.99
    Vol 08 $20.99
    Vol 09 $39.99
    Vol 10 $??.??

Total $311.99 without Vol 10 (couldn't find link)

Weird prices as always on Amazon... of course buying them all separately brings in a LOT of shipping rate...

So how are the DVDs compared to the Aone fansubs? Is it really worth the $350?

  7. #7
they would have to pay me $350 to put 10 volumes of naruto somewhere in my house where ppl could see it.

I was just thinking about how the only scenes I'd want to rewatch from the original Naruto series is Lee vs Gaara and Lee vs Kimimaro.

*shrug* some people have jobs and disposable income.

I own them so I have a version of them that looks nice, and because I have several friends who like the same shows as me, but are patently unwilling to watch anything with subtitles. So with these, I have the nice subs for me, and the dubs for people I loan them too, all in one package.

Hardly rich. Just the kind of wealth that comes with having a job, and not having any wife or kids to support.

I mean, after food and shelter, you can pretty much just buy toys.

Are you implying that I have some kind of secret tunnel from my bedroom to the basement and the tunnel walls are layered with dildos?

Your fucking sick man! You need help!

One of my friends actually got a bootleg set like that and it was actually really nice. It was all fansubbed episodes, but it came in those really thin DVD cases and all the cases and DVDs had manga volume cover art on them. I was pretty envious at the time.

Still kinda am, because these Uncut boxed sets take up a ton of space on my shelf. I could really do without the artbooks that are 75% blank.

Well, then do what the bootleggers do, buy slimcase DVD boxes, print out self make covers and put the DVD in there. The artbooks etc can be stored somewhere or thrown away.
If you have a decent printer, you can print the cover just like the bootlegged ones..

Bootlegs suck, don't be jealous of them.
