Persona 4: The Golden announced for PS Vita
Source: SiliconeraAtlus’ teaser website was what most of our readers suspected — a port of Persona 4 for the PlayStation Vita, titled Persona 4: The Golden. The Vita version adds new features reported by this week’s Famitsu magazine.
Amongst new additions to the game are new characters. One of these is Marie.
Another is the addition of more voiceover work for the Vita version; Persona 4 Golden will contain 1.5 times the voicework of Persona 4, as well as new songs. Also being added is a new opening movie, and new event and anime movies during the course of the game.
Persona 4: The Golden will also utilize the Vita’s online capabilities. You’ll be able to call for help if you’re having a hard time in the game’s dungeons. Finally, Famitsu mention a mysterious highly-requested feature that has also been added to the game but will be announced at a later date.
Persona 4: The Golden is slated for a spring 2012 release in Japan.

Persona 4: Ultimate Mayonaka Arena announced for Arcade, PS3 and 360.

Characters from P4 confirmed: Main/Souji/Yu, Chie and YosukeThe Persona 4 revival won’t stop with the anime and Persona 4: The Golden. Arc System Works are working on a Persona 4 fighting game, development of which is being handled by the BlazBlue team.
The game is titled Persona 4: Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena, as reported by Sinobi.
Interestingly, it takes place two months after Persona 4 and continues that game’s story. The fighting tournament is apparently being hosted by none other than Teddie.
Characters that are confirmed to be playable are Yosuke, Chie, Yu (the main character) and…Aigis?! Yes, the game will include characters from Persona 3 as well. Shoji Meguro will be composing music for the game and Katsura Hashino will be directing.
Persona 4 G: Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena will be released in Japanese arcades in spring 2012 and will follow on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in summer 2012 in Japan.

Katsura Hashino will return as director, Shoji Meguro as composer, and Shigenori Soejima as character designer. No further details regarding the game have been provided.
