    Game: Shin Megami Tensei Games

    Atlus just announced today, at AnimExpo, they will be releasing Persona 4 stateside this coming December 9th, 2008. Just a mere 5 months after the Japanese release (which happens to be in several days, July 10).

    Here is the email they sent to Atlus Faitful

    Persona 4 is coming to North America.

    It will be in stores THIS holiday season, December 9th, in a deluxe 2-disc release. Each and every copy of Persona 4 will include a soundtrack CD with select music from the game.

    Experience a thrilling murder mystery RPG set in the Japanese countryside. A mysterious chain of deaths remains unanswered and only you and your team of gifted supernatural sleuths can uncover the truth.

    Is the dating sim still in this game? Honestly, the females don't have the appeal they had in the 3rd game ie Mitsuru, etc.

    Its still there... and this time you can choose between if a girl becomes just a friend or a lover... plus some SLink will allow you to choose between characters...
    Remember how despite what sport you choose Kazushi was there? This time, you will get different characters depending on the sport.

    And about the girls... I give you, Rise.





    Oh... btw... Chihiro from Persona 3 has been confirmed to appear when the new Main Character and his team visit Gekkoukan High

    She's ok I guess, but I meant in the respect of Mitsuru where a girl was drop-dead beautiful/gorgeous. The majority of these new girls are just "cute", imo.

    Indeed. PS2 only. What until a few months ago (prior to the announcement of the japanese version) was given to P3FES, the title of the Last Great PS2 RPG game, is now being handed to P4, despite it has not released even in Japan.

    And to think that I still have to finish P3 FES before playing Persona 4. Geez...

    And about the female characters, I prefer cute girls over gorgeous type females.

    Well... I just decided 'how' to spend my gaming time until Persona 4 arrives...
    Im buying Nocturne, Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2 and Devil Summoner... screw the NDS, PSP, Wii and PS3...

    It's a good thing that it came out during December (holidays!). I'll be getting it tomorrow for sure.

    My copy is still on the mail.
    Had to get it through a friend in USA so I could get the ArtBook, 2nd OST, Calendar, Shirt and Kuma/Teddie Plushie.

    Hopefully it will arrive before my vacations end.

    It's a lot of fun, all in all it's the same as P3 not much have changed. It's more down to earth like a murder mystery case so far instead of the whole deal with the dark hour etc that the third game had. The whole exploring a persons fears and facing them is quite nice but maybe it's just me but the end process is somewhat meh since most are the same. All in all if you liked P3 you'll like this game.
