Something about the art style doesn't appeal to me. Plus I hate it when anime characters get weird foreign names. It sounds stupid when pronounced in Japanese. One of the reasons I couldn't stand Blood+ was how they pronounced "David" as "Daviduh".

Isn't C.C.'s real name the sound of the water drop? That's what I always though. You can argue that they used the drop figuratively to mask her true name, but the fact that she responded to it when she fainted tells me that's the case.

C.C.'s real name simply has not been revealed yet. Wikipedia states that the name was purposely muted.I know its not always the best source of info, but since no one has changed it so far and its quite reliable when its about anime, I believe it is accurate.
I personally think it is definitely not the sound of the water drop.

Well I voted a while back but didn't say why. My vote is for Kallen/Karen for a few reasons.
The first is why I like C.C. and she is mysterious/playful she also has that nasty scar on one of her breasts. Her Personality makes up for some of it but her appeal is all in the chase. She's just a tease and thats all your getting out of her for a very long time so in the short term discussion of hottest C.C. loses for those reasons.
Shirley to me would get the vote if you were talking more of long term and not a shorterm thing like who do you think is the Hottest girl. Basically I find her the most realistically dateable and to possess the overall appeal that would last the longest of the three I'm discussing.
So that leaves us with Kallen/Karen for me atleast. First off she's a redhead and thats always worth bonus points. Second she really is willing to do just about anything and mainly because she has the hottest scenes overall. I mean this season alone we have had bunny suits, her nearly naked in a mascot costume and her general degree of fetish/cosplay stuff :P
