Something about the art style doesn't appeal to me. Plus I hate it when anime characters get weird foreign names. It sounds stupid when pronounced in Japanese. One of the reasons I couldn't stand Blood+ was how they pronounced "David" as "Daviduh".Originally Posted by shinta|hikari

Art style is by CLAMP, although the plot is not.
Foreign names... basically its is because most characters are not Japanese... you see in this story 'Britannia' conquered most of the world before ww2.

Isn't C.C.'s real name the sound of the water drop? That's what I always though. You can argue that they used the drop figuratively to mask her true name, but the fact that she responded to it when she fainted tells me that's the case.

C.C.'s real name simply has not been revealed yet. Wikipedia states that the name was purposely muted.I know its not always the best source of info, but since no one has changed it so far and its quite reliable when its about anime, I believe it is accurate.
I personally think it is definitely not the sound of the water drop.
