Not being one of the 3 unfortunate motorists I saw pulled over by police today. Getting a speeding ticket sucks.

Oh, nice. Borderlands was one of the rare games that kept me interested long enough to complete. I've still got to do that gladiator-style DLC though. I keep getting killed partway through that grassy level with alien structures.

    If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~

I finally got THIS little fucker cut off/out today. I can finally rest easy and pain free (after the incision heals).

Linked rather than posted directly for the weak hearted.

That would be the part of the vertebral disc that became herniated at the end of May and caused me so much grief all summer.

Amazing that 5cm sliver of 'crab meat' in your spinal canal can cause so much damn pain. Also amazing is how damn good of a job the surgeon did.

I wish I could have, but I forgot to ask before they knocked me out. He had already disposed of it, before I woke up. But at least I have some pics.

Got a 2011 Honda Insight. Getting rid of the ol' Cooper, unfortunately, but my monthly payments will be down by $150 and I get to save like $1000 a year on gas. Plus, as a hybrid, I'll get better tax writeoffs, and carpool/parking privileges through the state. So, that's kinda neat.

Edit: New update! I solved my dilemma of how I'm going to drop off my old Mini Cooper at the dealership to terminate my lease. Got a flat tire just now, so I have to get it towed. I knew that service plan would come in handy.

Spending an entire Saturday doing very little. It feels good to be home on the weekends after a very long time. Now watching One Piece.

What with all the cash dollary doos you apparently make, it's strange that you're skimping on horsepower/cool factor just to save on monthly payments and gas.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

Walking in the pouring rain while watching people scamper around to either take shelter or to get to their destination. It was a great feeling, especially since it has been so hot and muggy for quite sometime now.

On the negative side being soaked to the bone and working is not to most ideal situation. But it certain was worth it.

The inline fuse holder for my car stereo melted in the heat of the engine bay so I didn't have music in the car for a couple days. I knew I'd see a spare one in my storage boxes but hadn't checked. Looked today and found it, installed it, have music in the car again. That made me smile.

I bought a pack of 4-can Russian Standard vodka + citrus today, since it was marked down to $10 from the original $19. The deal made me smile, though not so much the drink.

It reminded me again why I don't like vodka. It tastes just like whatever the hell it's mixed with, so why don't I just drink that instead minus the vodka? Then I can have as much of it as I can without feeling sick.

Same deal with rum/bourbon/scotch + cola/soda mixes. I'd rather take the cola.

    If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~

LOL, nice deal dude. I’m not a big fan of vodka either, though there's a Polish one that's actually quite tasty.

I can drink rum with soda but scotch I only drink mixed if it's a bad tasting one. If I need to get drunk fast, I add Sprite and lemonade syrup which kind of neutralizes the alcohol flavor and makes you drink it like water. But that's only in emergencies.

Bourbon I'm pretty inexperienced with. I only know of Four Roses and I thought Jack Daniels(?) to be bourbons.

Anyway, I'm a big fan of Famous Grouse blended scotch whiskey. It has a really nice flavor to it.

Hahahaha, what an odd thing to say.
