Against my better judgement, I ended up chatting with a friend of my ex, a Japanese girl who lives in Korea while @ work. It was actually pretty funny; one of the things that made me lol was her saying "Yes, I am a pervert, of course I am a pervert...I am Japanese!". She also outed me as an otaku, albeit a cool one.

    More importantly, is she hot?

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

Lol, what I said wasn't directed at you Ani but I am certain what you just posted can be considered spam.

What made me smile to day was walking the city on a gorgeous afternoon realizing that color is once more here in the city, ignoring the sirens and honking it was quite a pleasant day to be out.

It's hard not to smile in Vancouver these days with everyone in such high spirits about the Canucks being in the Stanley Cup finals. The whole city is giddy with excitement. I'm not a native Vancouverite, so I don't have quite as strong an attachment to this hockey team as my friends, but the feeling tends to be contagious.
I want to share with you guys a super impressive Canucks fan video my friends wrote, produced, and filmed. I was gonna be in the video too, but ended up having a conflicting event that night

Hey, I am a busy and efficient man...also I was on a work retreat for the past 2 days. She is pretty cute, although quite pettanko. I would not mind hanging out with her and her friends if I happen to go to Korea next month. And yes, she likes to make out with her female friends. There were also some stories of groping.

Just saw a commercial of Kris Angel hawking Orville Reddenbacher popcorn. Ridiculous.

I just had a nice laugh reading some old news. This kind of reminded me of some discussion we had a few days ago, not trying to fuel any flames I just found it funny. I hope we dont get to see any video about this new kind of outlaws.

The problem with that one is that it's the bus drivers who are judging, and they don't seem to be held accountable for the actions they have or will take. If the new dress code only defines baggy pants as "distasteful", the guy doesn't actually get judged before a panel. It's just the driver, and him.

It made me smile, even if it was perhaps an ironic smile.

Today, I bought a sleeping mask that also came with some ear plugs.

It's going to help encourage me to go to sleep a lot earlier since it'll block off almost all distractions that will happen around ~7-9PM and cancel out the noise of these birds outside in the wee hours around ~3AM.

It's going to be great increasing my hours of sleep per day to be 9+ instead of my current average of 5-6.

Also, it'll help me with meditation.

I don't like numbing my senses, it's a potential danger not knowing what's in your surroundings because you're blind and deaf to the world, especially when you're also asleep. I think you should get a sound generator like this:

It produces different calming noises like white noise, ocean waves, rainfall, etc, to block out other sounds and help you concentrate or sleep.

I like sleeping to music. There's this band that plays a bunch of creepy instrumental music, they're called Nox Arcana. I just put on a large playlist of their stuff.
"You are not free whose liberty is won by the rigour of other, more righteous souls. Your are merely protected. Your freedom is parasitic, you suck the honourable man dry and offer nothing in return. You who have enjoyed freedom, who have done nothing to earn it, your time has come. This time you will stand alone and fight for yourselves. Now you will pay for your freedom in the currency of honest toil and human blood."

My girlfriend does this and she has me doing it now.

I don't wear the ear plugs and I don't have a mask, but I wrap a long sleeve shirt around my head when I sleep and it's great. I get to sleep so much easier than I did before.

<@Terra> he told me this, "man actually meeting terra is so fucking big", and he started crying. Then he bought me hot dogs

She still has influence over you? I guess that means things are getting better...

I couldn't sleep with something over my face, it would make it hard to breathe, and some days I would wake up and freak out like I was buried alive or something.

I can't sleep with masks on because the sensation of something strapped on my face like that keeps me awake. Having a jumper draped over the top half of my face is no problem when required.

I have to block out the LED lights of my clock when I sleep because the lights are really distracting, and I also can't stand having an analogue clock in the room (as well as preferring to keep the door closed).

Back when I had really noisy computers, I had to sleep in a position where I lay on my right, propped my right arm vertically so that the elbow was touching the bed and the forearm was vertically up towards the sky, then had my left arm propped horizontally so that the elbow of my left arm was resting on the palm of my right, while the left palm rested on my ear - effectively dampening the noise. Earplugs feel weird (as in canalphones) because they are hard and provide pressure when I move (I almost always sleep on my side).

I guess my suburb is much better at night to sleep in (and to listen to music in) since the low population density means a low amount of noise.

Anime convention that was held this weekend in my city. It was goddamn awesome - discussions were really interesting, typemoon-fag knowledge contest was hard, very hard(still due to lack of proper competition(guys had trouble answering C class question) i won it), lecture-styled talk about VNs and LNs was one of better things that happened there, Durarara discussion was total failure(it was lead by two, goddamn yaoi loving, girls).
The Contest Shop was a great idea, after you won contest you received points(30 for 1st, 10 for 2nd, and 5 for 3rd), which you could exchange for some stuff. Two tickets(worth 140) points have been bought at 2 am or so, Duke Nukem Forever for 160 got taken pretty soon, but i've took Rebuild of Evangelion 1.11 limited edition(DVD) for 150 will post pics later of my swag, now i'm basically a dead meat.

    EDIT: swag
