Those are pretty cool, but why don't they take mega pictures of places that are actually interesting and beautiful?

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

My own: The house got rewired and brought up to code about a week ago. Spent a good hour figuring out what breaker (upgraded from fuses) goes to what again. There are still 3 complete mysteries.

I watched the movie Precious today. Incredibly funny even though it doesn't try to be.

Every time I see the subtitle of that movie "Based on the novel Push by Sapphire" it makes me think of Sapphire from Gotwoot.

<@Terra> he told me this, "man actually meeting terra is so fucking big", and he started crying. Then he bought me hot dogs

    I bought a 2.5" 640GB external HDD for $89 today.

I thought it was a pretty sweet deal. Came with free delivery too (though it meant the delivery man woke me up bright and early.)

You'd have to pay some drug addict to steal them to get them for that price.

I bought a 1TB external HD for 49€ on tuesday. In these parts that was a jolly good deal. Although the transfer speed through USB2 is annoyingly slow compared to the USB3 HD I built earlier, after all, even though I considered the USB3 also disappointingly slow when I was using it.

What transfer speeds do you get using USB3?

I'm getting around 21MB/s write speed on this one (nah, it wasn't overnight.. took a day I think).

My price was only a little cheaper than what I can buy it for normally (and this "special" was from an otherwise generally expensive site), but it's still considered a pretty good buy here. That fact that I could have it with just a click or two made me buy it.

I'm also getting that same 21MB/s with the USB2 drive. The USB3 drive sports around 51MB/s. I was expecting it to give rates identical to those between internal drives, which are some 20MB/s more, at the very least (well, between my sata and old pata drives, anyway).

it came to my attention today, that because the bush family has a very limited imagination when it comes to names that Barbara Bush is the mother, wife, daughter and granddaughter of George Bush.

    Texan pride...

sig made by Itachi-y2k5, thanks, dude!
Currently Watching: probably a show directed at 9 years old girls, lets be honest.

You know the important distinction between Batman and me? Batman is fictional. In real life, there isn't always an alternative.

Thats cool, I remember liking them, well this song, when I was young.... and even then knew the difference between music with substance and soulless garbage.

Not sure why tho when I clicked the link I was expecting some deathcore screaming trashmetal. Seems like thats all anyone does these days. I think I know why, they cant express themselves and reflect their emotions and they need some way to get it out so they just scream. Either that or its just a pathetic trend they think makes you look badass.

I'm all for screaming over music it just needs to be done right, you need to build up to it and its gotta serve a purpose. A rollercoaster that just goes straight down forever cant be fun and only gonna take you to hell. Wow that was a pretty alright metaphor

you have any of your stuff online Xan?

Yeah youre probly right.... I liked all kinds of nonsense back then. I listened to NOW THATS WHAT I CALL MUSIC in the 90's and the radio hahaha. But this was most assuredly "Alternative" to all that, which made it really stand out from the top of the pops. Lyrics aren't too profound but I like the second verse a lot. Its cool I can remember getting the same feeling from it, all those years ago, that I do now.

Nothings made me smile today so far.... albeit Azael's sig got a smirk out of me. Yesterday was a good day tho. Met this girl a while back I could tell we were into eachother right away. She had to get home early so we never talked after that. I had to come back to florida for a bit and that was that. Few weeks ago I guess our friend told her I was talking about her and she added me on facebook but didn't engage anything. Yesterday I felt like talking to someone and just got back into it with her right where we left off. Now I have something strong pulling me back towards Jersey.

And I learned Rocky Raccoon on the ol acoustical. Great song one of my top five beatles tracks. Now I can play 3 count em, 3, songs. Any suggestions what I should learn next? I been playing for a few months.

Lillium from elfen lied is a pretty good thing for training(especially if you are not into playing chords). It would be also wise to learn scales. I still have tab for it somewhere on the disk, and if i don't i could tab it out for you :P
