I got up this morning and went to the GameStop in the mall and was the first one to get the new Xbox 360 S there.

    Xbox 360 S 250gb Console - $299.99
    Xbox 360 16gb SanDisk Flash Drive - $69.99
    4,000 Microsoft Points - $49.99
    --
    Total $4.41

    That made me smile.

Edit. Good look at the new 360.

I just helped convince a friend that a girl having sex with 9 guys over the course of her lifetime does not make her a slut.

Score for the continuing process of eradicating slut-shaming.

<@Terra> he told me this, "man actually meeting terra is so fucking big", and he started crying. Then he bought me hot dogs

Depends on how old she is and how long she's been sexually active. 9 in one year might make her a bit of a slut.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

Haha, Depends on your relative definition I guess. My point was not whether or not she was a "slut" in his eyes, but rather that having any amount of sex isn't a bad thing.

Having sex with one guy or wearing the "wrong" type of clothing can make you a slut in some circles, but it doesn't make it a valid criticism of a person's identity, and sexual promiscuity isn't inherently bad. Judgment of a person's behavior is 100% divorced from the amount of sex they have. At least, it should be.

In any case, I think I convinced my friend that this girl wasn't a disgusting, immoral tramp just because she had slept with more guys than he found acceptable by arbitrary standards.

Just watched Full Metel Alchemist : Brotherhood 62 and it was f'ing awesome. The subbing was pretty bad but it was probably the best episode so far.

It was for a 3rd year accounting course. You had to explain the implications of a business's different accounts when moving from the current Canadian GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) to either the IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standard) or ASPE (Accounting Standards for Private Enterprise). Tons of fun.

I was on the edge of my seat. That was an intense goal.

In the same vein, this interview made me laugh: http://www.mediaite.com/tv/glenn-bec...-than-curling/

Apparently the rest of the world is shoving soccer down "real" Americans' throats. WE DON'T WANT IT

    (we actually do want it)

Was watching the England game and waiting for the second goal which never came. Anyway I'm glad both the USA and England made it through.

I was assigned a bullshit work assignment today but it ended up being pretty awesome. Watched the World Cup all morning, practiced kanji, and got front-row view of all the incoming freshmen girls.

That's cold-blooded man. Doesn't apply since I look like your typical 22 year old.

There's a load of people on PSU right now celebrating Sonic's 19th birthday. Sonic and Tails showed up on the 4th floor and people went nuts. Seeing so many people on PSU made me smile, because it hasn't been like that in a couple of years.

I attended a work ceremony with an open bar last night, which was interesting, to say the least. I was told that I was the center of someone's morality, then like an hour later ditched my coworkers for a shady hook-up.

I received an unexpected email from Microsoft that contained a code for 400 free Microsoft Points. I immediately used those points on NeoGeo Battle Coliseum.

Dudes and hot ladies actually standing up and cheering/dancing/rocking the fuck out to my band tonight.

I've never played to such a responsive crowd.
