Aced my Japanese 101 final exam today. And 2 of the 3 most annoying people in the class weren't there (either they took the test at a different time or they skipped it altogether), so it was even better.

Found out I might have got an A instead of a B in my computer science logic class. Here's hoping an 89.54 gets rounded to an A.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

How do you fail a BIO class that isn't genetics or at least upper division? I've heard a few freshmen saying how "Intro to Bio" class was difficult and that it was a weed-out class. How hard can it be to memorize some processes and animal parts?

I got an A back when I took, just for reference. Different curriculum then, but still, how can it be that much harder?

Not my thing i suppose, since i usually find it hard to memorize things that i find to be uninteresting. It doesn't help that there's only 2 tests and then the final. Each test was 100 random questions that cover 5 chapters and the final is 200 questions over the entire course.

Well in high school, my peers were saying biology was arguably the hardest subject there is, mainly because no one got an A in that course. I didn't take biology so I couldn't verify :P

But in university, pharmacology -> the closest thing to biology in the latter parts of my degree, is pretty damn hard for me.

But I guess, like Dark Dragon says, different things are for different people. I found clinical evaluation of evidence, statistics, and pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics easy while others were the complete opposite.

Well yes pharmacology can be difficult because it concerns chemistry as well as biology. Basic biology, especially in the intro courses, is just memorization, so it's not very different from intro history or government courses. I understand memorization of boring\seemingly meaningless facts is difficult for some people, but if you struggle with intro to biology, you're probably in the wrong program, since the amount of material only gets more numerous.

Yeah its on the +/- system. So that makes me have a GPA of a little bit above 3.33 (at least, I think, since I still have to write two of my exams)

I got 18 books in the mail today.

To be fair, most of them are manga.

It was still a wonderfully heavy box.

We'll be on the +/- system next semester. It will suck since I'm an average student, so my GPA will be worse off with all the minuses I'll get.

3 As and 1 B for 12 hours of coursework this semester has moved my GPA from 2.79 to 2.91.

I got a B in my spanish class (Thanks to my wife, and an easy 150 question final exam!) which was the last course I needed to get my AAS degree ! I have to have have them fix a something on my degree plan but as far as i'm concerned, I'm done !!!

I put so much time into this and went way over my needed credits, and finally I get to list a completed degree in my educational background when I apply for a job or something.

I had my midterm test last week, and the results came in.

    I got a perfect score.

it's hard to guage what my boss is going to say when he walks in my office w\ a smile and tells me " you're not gonna believe this...."

he was in the bathroom, and I guess set his iphone down on top of the toilet paper thing... it fell to the ground, bounced, and landed inside of the toilet...

If I lost my iphone in such a way, i wouldn't want anybody asking me if this was before of after the used the toilet, or if they flushed... so i didn't ask that even though i was very curious.

his iphone won't power on, so i guess it didn't make it

Haha, I can imagine him going "Shit!" inside his cubicle, puzzling others in the toilet

I'm smoking high quality tobacco out of a hookah right now. The tasty smoke makes me smile.

You know how you're single for a while and then all of a sudden several attractive girls out of the blue show interest in you? I smile when that happens.

I was watching a safety training video at work, and rather than listen to the narrative I've heard a half dozen times before, I listened to music instead. I was listening to Sabaton, and there were all these industrial scenes on the screen and then somehow for about 2 minutes, the video meshed perfectly with the music. It was totally awesome.

I also got carded buying a game today. The last time I got carded for alcohol was almost three years ago. Somehow buying Bayonetta earned me a carding, which has never happened to me ever before. If it wasn't so hilarious being carded by someone younger than I am, I might have been a bit offended.

Ah Sabaton... for some reason they are really popular outside of Sweden, and outside of my town, Falun, where they come from.

Most of my friends dislike them aswell.. I'm not really sure why although actually do like the music part.... it's just... i really can't stand the singers voice..

Anyway, got a wee bit offtopic there...
