I got an e-mail from someone called "manen_666@yahoo.se" today... you know what it said?

    "Empower your man-root!"

thats it, nothing else, no advertising product or anything, that some first class spam right there!

Also, the usage of "man-root" made me laugh a little ;P

Seeing my cousin's 10-month old twin babies put a smile on my face...although I see them all the time, so I'm not sure if that counts.

I bought some medicine at the local pharmacy for $6.99.

Apparently that rounds down to $6.95 on their computers.

5c surplus...should actually go in the bitching thread I can never find ways to spend my 5c pieces.

I'm holding a CD with a song on it that I helped create. Professionally recorded, mixed, and mastered.

Very surreal experience to listen to it in the car, turned up loud, thinking "that's me playing that."

<@Terra> he told me this, "man actually meeting terra is so fucking big", and he started crying. Then he bought me hot dogs

I submitted my final assignment for the year...20 28 seconds before the deadline.

Pretty good considering I started writing at 10am, decided it was crap and started over at 6pm, then submitted the final 1200word copy at 23:59:32.

Certainly not good practice, but definitely something that would make you smile.

Now to choose between sleep, anime or ice-cream.....

Toys R Us is having their annual buy 2 video games get the 3rd free sale this week (10/11-10/17). I was able to get Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Brutal Legend, and Batman: Arkham Asylum as my free game. After that, I went to Chic-fil-A and got some Chicken Sandwiches, Nuggets, and Waffle Fries. I also received a MAG beta code, so all of that made me smile.

Does that count? Isn't the only time that counts the one that is received and not sent?
I mean a bit of mail server lag..... >_>.

I submitted it using the Blackboard/Turn-it-in utility, and it gets time-stamped. According to the confirmation email I got, it was received at their end with 28s to go.

As far as they're concerned, I'm on time ;(

Maybe I'm just playing down the swine flu threat.... Just got this email @ work :

Okay, I have put bottle of hand sanitizer all over the office and a few masks in the kitchen. If you come to work with a fever you will need to wear a mask or go home. It’s only fair to the rest of us that would rather not get what you have. Please everyone use the sanitizers. And if you aren’t sick and would like to wear a mask just in case, you are welcome to.

When I went to buy some hydrocortisone from a pharmacy today, there was a paper taped to the door telling that people who feel like they might have swine flu should first ring the staff door's doorbell to receive a mask, and only then enter the store.

You see the hand sanitizers indeed all over the town but that was the first time I've seen a pharmacy taking such precautions. I suppose it makes sense, though.

This landed on my doorstep yesterday :

Pantsu More photos available here: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10083388

She comes with two different left hands, one which has a hole for for attaching her sheath, as well as Caliburn and Excalibur (which fits in the sheath if you want it to be).

Superb detailing and awesome paintjob. There are actually four different layers to her dress, each molded individually. I didn't realise how big it was until it arrived.

    Only 2 bitches are:

    1) Her hole in her right hand is too small so I didn't force mine in. Caliburn's handle is thinner towards the pommel than Excalibur's is, so that one can fit. I don't know if this problem was just mine, or if it is more wide-spread.

    2) I don't know what the regulations are regarding parcel delivery, but the postman literally just left 9000 Yen on my doorstep for the taking. I knew SAL didn't have tracking, but if this is also part of the cheaper deal, I will seriously consider shipping via EMS exclusively from now on.
