Yeah that's what's going on. It's called "crating" the dog. He's already house-trained and well-trained in general, though a bit feisty and tries to dominate (I thought it was the pit bull side of him but it turns out it might be the shar-pei side, go figure).

The folks at the shelter recommended keeping him crated until he's acclimated to his new home. I'd rather let him roam free in the backyard, but they recommended against that for some reason. He seems a lot happier in the backyard, but maybe he'll try to escape, though that doesn't seem likely since he seems very loyal and even dependent on his owner.

My first dog by the way, so it's almost like having a first child. Lots to learn and experience.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

First day back at university, and it's unbelievable how many hot girls are walking around in short shorts. They're all young, fit, and gorgeous. Good thing I have no game and I'm beyond being interesting in girls just for their looks. Plus I'm trying to concentrate on studies too.

Surely you're not too old to hit on college girls without it seeming creepy, Animeniax. The clock is ticking, take advantage while you can.

Just found out that the band I'm in is opening for Peelander Z in a month.

I'd never heard of them before now, but apparently they're kind of big? In any case they look absolutely insane. A Japanese punk rock band with Sentai themed costumes and names:

Even if we suck I'm so looking forward to that, if only to see them perform.

<@Terra> he told me this, "man actually meeting terra is so fucking big", and he started crying. Then he bought me hot dogs

Oh man, I gotta see that. Details on the date and time of the performance please. Of course, first midterms will be in about a month, so it's doubtful, but I'm looking for a reason to make a trip to Houston.

Oh, and since I have no game and suck at being charming or witty, hitting on cute girls isn't my thing. I need a context in which to work. Luckily I have that since there are cute girls in my classes, but since these are computer science classes, the cute girls will get plenty of attention from all the geeks in the classes. And it's a major turn-off watching the cute girls sling it around in hopes of getting tutoring or homework help from the geeks.

Ill probably take a pic of it, but my gf sent me a Wing Zero Gundam model (although I wanted the Cherubdim or Dynames). It was still a nice gesture ^__^.

It would have been perfect if she had been wearing some sort of cult clothes. A nice pic nonetheless, however macabre.

Is that the cantina band on Mos Eisley?

One of biggest, if not the biggest, of polish death metal band's - they got signed under Nuclear Blast few albums ago.
and CD sounds like 1000x better than this on youtube.

and here is their cover of Black Metal by Venom
