I'm finally able to continue my study of Russian! Woot! My tutor has a background in physics too, so I learned lots of fun words today like 'semiconductor' and 'superconductor'

Ooh, that's neat. How well do the lights match the dynamics of the music? They'd look pretty cool for music, though I'd want an option to turn off the lights if I'm watching a movie. Does it have that option?

You can turn down the sensitivity of how loud the sounds have to be to trigger the lights, but that's about it. As for synch, they do very well. I'm enjoying them greatly.

No. I'll have to post a picture of them sometime soon. They look like the original lava lamps; the only difference is that the 'liquid' inside is molded into one shape, and the lights are threaded through that.

I smiled today more because I was forced to than anything. The reason why would be getting owned in the face with a hockey stick, breaking apart one of my teeth.

You play hockey? Pretty f*cking cool man. D-man, forward, or goalie? Please don't tell me you're a waterboy or score keeper.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

Oh? You guys are getting the beta now? I just bought a copy of Resistance 2 like 2 hours ago. I should've gotten my Valkyria Chronicles pre-order also, but apparently they ship today and will be there tomorrow. Gayyyyy, what a false release date.

In my test today, there were two pharmaceutical calculation questions where the answer to the first question is used to work out the second. Both were multiple choice. I got an answer to the first, and when I worked out the second, the answer was complete nonsense. Obviously I was wrong. I didn't have any idea on how to go about the first question anymore.

Then I used all the possible answers provided for Question 2, worked backwards and got all the possible values of "k", which is the answer to Question 1. Only one set of answers matched.

    Reverse Engineering FTW!!
