I checked my connection after it connected, and I was getting 7000kbps downstream with a noise margin of 4dB.
I emailed my ISP and told them I had some dropout issues with my previous provider, and I said I would be willing to sacrifice a bit of speed for a higher noise margin.
30mins later, I noticed my connection went to shit. When I checked my connection afterwards, I see I'm connected at 1400kbps now with a 30dB noise margin.
I was expecting them take no notice, or try something a little lower, but not this........extreme...p.
In any case, that made me smile.
I've sent them an email asking them to change me to a "list of preferred settings", or if that's too demanding, then just put me back on what I was before. That connection was just a bit TOO stable
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
