My instructor finally posted my grade for the Sociology class I took online, and I got a B !!!!

Smiling because I stopped doing the assigned reading after the third or fourth chapters and I was extremely cynical about the whole class w\ the teacher on several occasions. Probably the most pointless class ever all of it based on what some random guy thinks, and not about facts.

So, now I just need one more class to complete my associates degree !

On Tuesday my bike finally destructed in a sudden blaze of glory that stranded me 10 mi from home and 20 miles from work. But I got my new frame in, swapped out my grupo. They even upgraded me (a BIG upgrade too) to a Full carbon bike.
    Gentlemen behold!

my new baby. I'm gonna ride her hard, put her away wet and hopefully tear her apart.
When man invented the bicycle he reached the peak of his attainments. Here was a machine of precision and balance for the convenience of man. And (unlike subsequent inventions for man's convenience) the more he used it, the fitter his body became. Here, for once, was a product of man's brain that was entirely beneficial to those who used it, and of no harm or irritation to others. Progress should have stopped when man invented the bicycle. ~Elizabeth West, Hovel in theHills

I'm no bikie, but that looks like a nice ride. Perhaps even nicer still when it gets a seat in place.

That's how I roll, I'm kinky that way

    er...

The picture was taken after she was half built, but before I had found a solution to the seatpost/saddle issue. On wed I rode my mtn bike to work, did a sprint ride too b/c I was late; went to some shops on my way home and found the bolts I needed to finish her. Stayed up all night wrenching. Did a test ride at 3am for 40 minutes. Found more issues, kept working till it was time to go to work. MY GOD THAT BIKE IS FAST. My average speed, (pure distance over time) was 21. covering 22 miles. after having not slept and done a sprint ride the prior day. When she was moving she was going over 20. If she had long enough w/o interruption from intersections and lights, she was holding 25+. You know that feeling when you are driving for hours and hours in the middle of nowhere and look down and realize you are accidentally going over 100. The ride to work was like that; at one point I looked down and said holy shit! I'm going 30. The bike is possessed by some wicked fast evil speed demon, and I like it that way. All I have to do is think about pedaling and she does all the work. It's the fastest bike I've ever owned.

....and it's time to go to work. toodles!

Sounds like great fun. I envy you for having a passionate hobby. Really. There's like nothing that motivates me anymore.

Why should there be anything I care about? Sure, give it a try. Maybe I should make a new thread or something for it.

Knowing another Metal Gear game is on the way.

Well, if it starts off fresh and has a solid gameplay system, then I won't resist buying it.

The next countdown clock has a one eyed Cyborg raiden, putting 1+1 together, the new game must jump between time periods. I am actually expecting more of an expansion instead of MGS5
Or its something completely different and kojima is just being a bitch (letitplzbezoe3kthx)

I would like a 3rd generation Zone of the Enders. That'd be awesome!

I got my Dell 2209WA today. Now that I've used an IPS panel, I don't think I can settle for anything less.

That's true, raiden has blue eyes, not brown ones. But he is a damn cyborg, he could have purple eyes for that matter.
Or its a clone, or its grown up cyborg sunny...

What made me smile today is that I got to play against a team that I've always wanted to play against in tennis. It was a battle of great endurance.

Seeing Diversity win Britain's Got Talent 2009 put a huge smile on my face. They're my favourite by far. The diverse ages really works to their advantage, giving their performance variety, compared to an otherwise equally good dance troupe Flawless.

As said by the judges, the choreography was superb.

Today, I decided to apply for my second Masters (before having even graduated from my first). It made me smile in a 'zomgosh this is insane, why am I doing it? ...but it's going to be AWESOME' kind of way.

So, I'd been growing a potato in an admittedly undersized pot (6 inches / 15cm diameter). About a week ago the plant started to die. I didn't know exactly how much water they needed, almost every day is apparently not enough (only neglecting to water when I forgot).

So I ripped it up today to see if anything had grown. To no real surprise, the entire thing was pot bound. But deep inside were these:

Needless to say, it made me happy.
