The show wasn't bad but the end of the last few episodes of the second season wasn't very good either and the ending pretty much saved the show. I would rather they stop milking the franchise and move on.

Seriously, though, they would need to rewrite the whole history (all the way to events preceding even the old series's beginning) for C.C. x Suzaku to be even possible, so I don't see much danger of it happening. Also, it would seem a financially dubious decision.
I would kill Suzaku, whether he is responsible or not.

i really liked the two points you raised. i was really down on Geass toward the end of R2, and even though the ending was pretty good, I'd felt cheated out of what I thought was going to be the best, serious mecha show in years. but now that it's come down to this, and they're just obviously milking it for model kits and figurines and CMs, i suppose it will be good to suspend all expectations and just watch the spectacle they end up trotting out there.

Code Geass Gaiden "Boukoku no Akito" Announced.
"The Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Kiseki no Birthday event video release is announcing a new project called Code Geass Gaiden Bōkoku no Akito on Friday. The side story is set in the European warfront, where a unit is sent into a military operation with a 5% chance of survival."
Sankaku seems to deduct from the meager info available that the side-story will basically feature an entirely novel cast.
I might need to slit somebody's wrists (though not my own because I still need them) if C.C. makes no appearance.
