the "sword on the back" thing was for samurai's,at least thats what i thought (when the sheath showed to the left during wartime, so they can draw it out of the sheath instantly)
You're mistaken the ninjas are the ones that traditionally carry their swords on their backs since the weapons they use are usually much shorter than your traditional Japanese swords that Samurai would use.
Did you not notice that the Kyuubi only began acting up after the necklace fell off. If they really intend for Naruto to stop using the Kyuubi then the necklace will play a big part of it. Oh no, typing that just gave me a bad visual of a Naruto necklace on necklace off story kinda like R+V or the many other animes that have that kind of plot. That would most truly suck.XP lol K we're getting off-topic anyway. Abdula and I will just agree in disagreeing like we always do
Btw, did u guys see how the first's necklace fell off from naruto's neck? Think that's gonna have any effect on the following story?

Also, id like to start another discussion here. I get it why oro wants sasuke's body for the sharingan, those eyes are completely badass and he'd be unstopable with them but the matter of the fact is that he would only have them for 3 years since thats the time he can keep a body before it starts rejecting him right? Well, except for training sasuke all this time oro doesnt seem to have been doing anything all that great so is all the sffort he's putting in sasuke really worth it?
Just read the last I don't know 10 or any of the anime threads since Oro has reappeared its been discussed over and over and over again.

K, in that case new question. Is the sword of kusanagi an only sword or is it a series of powerfull swords? Looks like both oro and sasuke have one but i googled it and it's supposed to be a singular legendary japanese sword so how do they both have one?
There is only one, they are just using it to refer to any sword that can't be blocked.

But orochimaru's sword has been blocked a couple of times by either kyuubi naruto or the third hokage. Or r u talking about sasuke's sword?
Oro's sword is the sword of kusanagi and its only been really been blocked by Kyuubi Naruto, Enma more or less just parried the blow like he told the third, even though he was harder than diamond the sword still cut him although I don't know why Oro didn't just cut straight through him. I think Sasuke just refers to his sword as a sword of Kusanagi because when he runs the chidori through it, it can't be blocked, like what Yamato tried to do with the kunai.

u know i've been complaining alot about naruto's evolution but i've been thinking about it and we've never really seen naruto fight at 100% since shippuden started. What i mean by this is that he still hasnt had any 1 on 1 battles and we all know that it's on those that the main carachter always shines and in all other batles there was always something against him like the damage the kyubbi did to him ( what might have helped with the sasuke ownage ) , or when the nine tail's cloak got in the way b4 he could rally go at it. Maibe we should give the guy a chance until he actually has a serious 1 on 1 battle while he's at 100% .
Misconception, I'm very nice and helpful in general and if someone disagrees with me then I don't really care what my point or my opinion is as long as they can defend themselves its usually very telling about the person and not a bad way to get to know them either.
I get you and I'm with you there but when are we ever going to see Naruto fight one on one against someone. I don't think any sensible person in the leaf village is confident enough in his ability to let something like that happen especially against the level of the opponents they have been facing. Besides he is far too valuable to just let him fight on his own like that especially if its against an Akatsuki member. I'm sure if Naruto improved his analytical abilities they won't be so concerned but at present Naruto rarely pays attention to anything and is more than likely to get baited by an opponent and run directly into their traps.
As for him being 100% I don't think that has much to do with anything, in terms of putting up a fight and not holding back etc. Naruto is Naruto he is always like that I don't think he even knows how to hold back which is why he blindly rushes into things in the first place. Secondly if he can't win a battle at all unless he is completely 100% then he won't last long as a ninja.

I get your point but it's just that ppl have been making comparisons between his fights ãnd the ones between sakura and sasori for example but they all have to see that naruto hasn't really had a chance to shine since he keep being put in situations where he is either not at 100% or he's fighting an impossible opponent. For example, in one of the only fights he was actually well, the one vs itachi, i think naruto actually didnt do half bad.
You do get a point about Naruto not having a real fight. Will they do a introduction from Naruto himself about, this is the Naruto Chronicles like during the Gaara fight? :P

True but being put in unfavorable situations and having to fight your way out of them is part of being a ninja. Just look at Kakashi's fight against Zabuza, The third against Oro, Sasuke against Oro, Sasuke against that sound nin, Gaara against Deidara, The Sannin Battle etc.
The fight against Itachi is a perfect example of why Naruto needs to be supported or protected in a battle. That was one of his best performances in battle in Shippuden yet he got caught in Itachi's genjutsu and if not the others he would have easily been captured and killed. It's also important to note that although that was one of his best performances he wasn't even able to lay a hand on Itachi without Itachi being held, the difference in level between him and his opponents is just not something Naruto is able to compensate for yet.

A list of stuff i miss from the first series:
- Naruto's desire to become hokage that did alot more for him that the desire to get sasuke back
- His way of the ninja, another thing that helped him in alot of fights
- Sasuke, since he was the goal that naruto always tried to reach in terms of strengh. it doesn't really have to be him, in fact i think Sai could make a good replacement
the truth is that if you decide to watch the first series again ( skip the fillers if you value your sanity ) you'll see that naruto lost alot of his passion, mostly i think because he no longer has that strong will to become the best, just a bitchy desire to save a "friend" that doesn't want to be saved

We know that the Kyuubi knows him, Itachi would have been far far too young to be involved in that fight. More likely someone Kakashi's age+ We didn't ever get the name of the person that Kakashi got his eye from right? Maybe him, or maybe I'm way off base and it is someone even older, I also forget if we got the name of the first person to achieve Mangekyu Sharingan but if not he is a possibility.
It seems he would try and make this "important" name one of those two, to me anyways.
All of those possibility's are wrong:
- itachi's friend was too young and im not even sure he was na uchiha
I was actually thinking sasuke's father cause i didnt really get his name but he didn't look that powerfull for the nine tails to remember him, also sasuke said he didn't know who that was but the guy is so messed up i don't know if he even remebers his dads name
