After all, Naruto has to fight Akatsuki too. They could do it as Team 7.
You seem to think that Naruto is more of a logical person than he has ever been shown to be and I don't think you have anyway to prove that. As for Naruto and the others helping Sasuke to achieve his goal and defeat Itachi that is never going to happen. When Sasuke left the village he made it pretty clear that all he cared about was defeating Itachi and that he intends to do that on his own, even Sakura offered to come with him and help to achieve that goal but he said it is something he must do on his own. Just like we've seen many many times if you're seeking revenge, it doesn't mean anything unless you can get that revenge on your own with your own power. Like Sasuke said he walks his own path now, a path different to Naruto and Sakura's, a path only he can walk.

Regarding the village: very few people know why Sasuke left, and fewer couldn't be lied to to. The village trusts the Hokage -- if she says it's okay for Sasuke to be back, it's okay. Secrecy is an important part of the village, and the Hokage is supposed to keep it all organized.
I actually think the opposite is true I think most if not all of the people of the village know why Sasuke is gone simply because the majority of the population of the village are ninjas in the first place and for anyone else who was living in the village when Itachi killed the clan it would be pretty obvious to them why Sasuke would leave.

Tsunade definitely wants Sasuke back. Look at how strong Itachi is. He's probably stronger than Orochimaru. Sasuke has the potential to be that strong. And if he returns to Konoha, he'll be a very valuable asset.
Yeah he would be a very valuable asset if he does return but one asset is not worth the risk of losing four other equally valuable assets. Secondly even if Sasuke returns what are they gonna do with him. Are they gonna put him on probational status because what the hokage says is what the hokage says but I'm pretty sure no ninja in the village is going to completely trust Sasuke someone who even before he left was aloof, who then betrayed the village and who has a power given by Orochimaru inside him. Thats assuming he even returns voluntarily which is highly unlikely. Naruto being able to go on these missions is simply a matter of convenience because the leaf is trying to gather information on Oro and Sasuke just happens to be with him. If they manage to get Sasuke to come back I'm sure Tsunade would be relatively happy just to know that he is out of Oro's hands but that is not their objective. Their objective is Orochimaru, so Sasuke himself may not be a treat to them but he certainly isn't an ally.

Also, Tsunade must consider the team to be very strong. She intends for them to fight Akatsuki.
She doesn't intend for them to fight Akatsuki if she was going to directly confront Akatsuki why would she send 3 kids to do the job. They go on these missions because they happen to be familiar with Akatsuki if she intended to directly confront Akatsuki she has the anbu members and all the jounins in the village to do that, you actually think she would send a bunch of kids to defeat the people who go around capturing bijuu and killing kages.
