Yeah, it might have been a look the manga intended as intense starting that the anime interpreted as surprise.

or maybe sai didn't know what his true objective was until he summoned the book? If he knew it was sasuke, then why would he summon it at all?

hmmm ok... maybe its just my disappointment, because this episode was by far the most stupid thing i've ever seen in naruto... even the fillers were more tense and suprising (and no, i m not overreacting this time)

NOTHING happend, REALLY NOTHING... as i said before the best part was when yamato (lol i always have that battleship in mind when i type this name) explained about ANBU etc.

btw i didn't mean to say that he will ignore sasuke.. since he (might) spotted him in the bingo book most likely means that he will attack him.

Now I'm wondering, why didn't sai use his mice earlier... Would've been much easier. Well, It is Naruto, so it's not always logical :P

He didn't use the mice because he wanted to find Sasuke on his own so he could perform his mission without having Naruto getting in the way.

That is, if you're thinking about this logically.

It's easier to assassinate someone when there's less people around. Especially the loudest, most annoying, and not to mention loyal to Sasuke ninja in existance...

One thing im sure of: Sai won't attack sasuke. They wouldnt make us like the guy after he finaly smiles so he would hate him the next moment.

It's interesting....in the manga days everyone was quite upset at the notion of Naruto converting Sai so easily.

It seems to me like Sai tricked them into letting him re-join their team so he can kill Sasuke...

assertnfailure (7:40:03 PM): dude....your posts are a bunch of nonsense

I wouldn't hate him if he killed sasuke.

if sasuke died maybe the anime would finally be about something other than chasing sasuke for like 500 episodes. the whole damn thing doesn't even make any sense, he left on his own free will.

Indeed, forcing him back won't do any good. What are they gonna do? Lock him up? Then Naruto won't have his buddy to play with. That's out of the question. Letting him roam free would be a bad idea, he'll just go away again. And I think Sasuke is good enough to kill ANBU when they're trying to prevent him from escaping.

It really seems like naruto doesn't understand Sasuke left on his own... Or does he have to bring him back because he made a promise to Sakura...

I think Naruto is just living in an imaginary world where he thinks when he meets Sasuke he is going to be strong enough to beat him and then when that happens Sasuke will miraculously forget about his life's purpose and put Itachi and the annihilation of the entire Uchiha clan out of his mind and then they can all go back to the village buddy buddy together and it'll be like old times.

Yeah and everyone in the village will also miraculously forget that Sasuke betrayed the village and went to the man who not only attacked and almost completely destroyed the village but killed the third and that Sasuke has been living with him for the past three years. Yeah, it could happen, just punch Sasuke in the face and it'll all go away.

Seriously I don't know why Tsunade is letting all of this crap go on, yeah I know she has a soft spot for Naruto and all but its just not logical I mean pros and cons people. If they die she would not only lose the person who could surpass her as a medical ninja, but a future hokage, The Kyuubi and one of her strongest anbu members who just happens to be the only person alive who can use the first's jutsu and Sai too. It just doesn't seem worth it to get one ninja back.

Speaking of Sai I like him, he is a very interesting character. Since the first time he showed up everyone has been questioning his motives and intentions and we still don't know what the hell he is about, thats a good thing. With an ambiguous guy like that hanging around you never know what will happen or what he'll do, reminds me of Kabuto.

this anime is trash atm. the main character is genuinely retarded and he is a terrible, terrible ninja. he can't do anything without the kyuubi and even then he almost kills his teammates several times.

its plagued by terrible fillers and characters staring at each other. most episodes don't even have any shading, giving characters an annoying flat look.

its barely worth the money i don't pay for it

This is definitely fair, but I disagree. I think that at this point, Naruto intends to show Sasuke that he's strong, so that they can go and beat Itachi together. And once they do that, they can go back to Konoha together, as peers, since they'd have Tsunade's support. He's not retarded enough to think Sasuke will forget his goal.

After all, Naruto has to fight Akatsuki too. They could do it as Team 7.

Regarding the village: very few people know why Sasuke left, and fewer couldn't be lied to to. The village trusts the Hokage -- if she says it's okay for Sasuke to be back, it's okay. Secrecy is an important part of the village, and the Hokage is supposed to keep it all organized.

Tsunade definitely wants Sasuke back. Look at how strong Itachi is. He's probably stronger than Orochimaru. Sasuke has the potential to be that strong. And if he returns to Konoha, he'll be a very valuable asset.

Also, Tsunade must consider the team to be very strong. She intends for them to fight Akatsuki.

You seem to think that Naruto is more of a logical person than he has ever been shown to be and I don't think you have anyway to prove that. As for Naruto and the others helping Sasuke to achieve his goal and defeat Itachi that is never going to happen. When Sasuke left the village he made it pretty clear that all he cared about was defeating Itachi and that he intends to do that on his own, even Sakura offered to come with him and help to achieve that goal but he said it is something he must do on his own. Just like we've seen many many times if you're seeking revenge, it doesn't mean anything unless you can get that revenge on your own with your own power. Like Sasuke said he walks his own path now, a path different to Naruto and Sakura's, a path only he can walk.

Regarding the village: very few people know why Sasuke left, and fewer couldn't be lied to to. The village trusts the Hokage -- if she says it's okay for Sasuke to be back, it's okay. Secrecy is an important part of the village, and the Hokage is supposed to keep it all organized.
I actually think the opposite is true I think most if not all of the people of the village know why Sasuke is gone simply because the majority of the population of the village are ninjas in the first place and for anyone else who was living in the village when Itachi killed the clan it would be pretty obvious to them why Sasuke would leave.

Tsunade definitely wants Sasuke back. Look at how strong Itachi is. He's probably stronger than Orochimaru. Sasuke has the potential to be that strong. And if he returns to Konoha, he'll be a very valuable asset.
Yeah he would be a very valuable asset if he does return but one asset is not worth the risk of losing four other equally valuable assets. Secondly even if Sasuke returns what are they gonna do with him. Are they gonna put him on probational status because what the hokage says is what the hokage says but I'm pretty sure no ninja in the village is going to completely trust Sasuke someone who even before he left was aloof, who then betrayed the village and who has a power given by Orochimaru inside him. Thats assuming he even returns voluntarily which is highly unlikely. Naruto being able to go on these missions is simply a matter of convenience because the leaf is trying to gather information on Oro and Sasuke just happens to be with him. If they manage to get Sasuke to come back I'm sure Tsunade would be relatively happy just to know that he is out of Oro's hands but that is not their objective. Their objective is Orochimaru, so Sasuke himself may not be a treat to them but he certainly isn't an ally.

Also, Tsunade must consider the team to be very strong. She intends for them to fight Akatsuki.
She doesn't intend for them to fight Akatsuki if she was going to directly confront Akatsuki why would she send 3 kids to do the job. They go on these missions because they happen to be familiar with Akatsuki if she intended to directly confront Akatsuki she has the anbu members and all the jounins in the village to do that, you actually think she would send a bunch of kids to defeat the people who go around capturing bijuu and killing kages.

Lol omg you're right. If we count the fillers there's enought naruto's to fill a small country.

Btw anyone else thinks naruto would make a crapy hokage? Not only is he weak, he's way too naive to have a seat of such power .

  19. #39
Yeah, he'd be a terrible leader, but he only wants the title so he can be village protector and be looked up to by the people who used to shun him, it's a child's dream. However, since he's been back he seems to be more concerned about Sasuke than becoming Hokage.

He feels bad that his friend who is walking a dark path and wants to bring him back from it. Compared to wanting to become Hokage just for shits and giggles it's a more reasonable goal for Naruto to have. I highly doubt he'll ever be able to beat the badness out of Sasuke, but he has set a precedent for doing just that in the past.

If he becomes Hokage, I do hope he'll learn more then Kage Bunshin and Rasengan... Has he ever done another ninjutsu besides these two?
