I would say it just over-cloaks GN drive. I expect Virtue have twice bigger cannon blasts and more long lasting and bigger shield. Dynames's main weapon have same property as the one he used to shot colony. Kyrios i don't know maybe have a giant claw.
I hope CB will take last Trinity GN drive and put it on Ptolemaios.

this episode sucked hard, the only good thing was when that scheinberg (or whatever his name is) showed up..
and why the hell didn't setsuna kill that bastard, with the new system he shouldn't have problems to catch up to throne-zwei's speed.
How did Setsuna survive the g-forces of those movements? Until now Graham and his over-Flag had been the most agile combination but certainly Setsuna's over-Gundam now was faster, and Graham was already suffering. Setsuna should be in quite a shaken condition by now. Maybe that's why he stopped and Ali escaped.
I think we're supposed to to assume part of CB's technology includes inertial dampeners. The things the several of the things the Gundams have been able to do should have killed the pilots without them.
We won't go into how they get jolted around in the cockpit when their suits gets knocked around but don't move at all when they accelerate to ridiculous speeds and then change direction abruptly because that just wouldn't be right....
I believe more specifically that it is the Solar Furnaces (or the GN-X and Trinity ripoffs) that supply the inertial damping. I believe the Meistars mentioned it in one of episodes. They've made the devices out to be miracle technology, which makes sense with the information that the real ones total only four, and Setsuna suffers no ill effects from the overdrive of the Trans-Am. If it can already power a huge robot, manipulate gravity to provide inertial damping, and produce particles dense enough to block and deflect high-powered laser beams, I don't really have a problem with it suddenly being able to ramp up those ridiculous abilities.
EDIT:
I'll try and field Yuki's objection:
Assuming that the Solar Furnaces are able to compensate for the pilot's own acceleration, it must be tied into the control system of the Gundam. Sort of a feedback control loop. Pilot wants to go forward fast, the Solar Furnace propels them forward, and account for that same stimuli so the pilot does not suffer. Exterior stimuli (such as a Tieren Taozi crashing into the Gundam) would not be incorporated into this feedback loop's sensor input. Thus, the pilot gets a good rocking.
Maybe it is able to compensate with a bit of lag time, so that an impact like that in space won't kill the pilot, and perhaps the same goes for the other Mobile Suits.
Compare the Gundam's piloting with Graham's, who gets shoved around in his cockpit all the time because there is no similar control feedback system.

Heh, that wasn't an objection, I've always believed in the awesomeness of Gundam Tech and I came up with a near identical theory to yours as I was typing my sarcastic comment. However I didn't feel like typing it all out and thinking about it too deeply (I was supposed to be working at the time) and the sarcastic comment seemed funny so I just let if stand. Props to you for coming up with and posting it though.
Did those bullets fully break the glass? I'm guessing Aeolia had some sort of overide system, since the screens in the room all changed around (guessing screen = veda operations). All the Gundams have the same GN Drives, so the only thing I can make of it is the upgrade means GN Power+100000. Add that to their specialised GN Arms and you get the new weapons.
edit: hmm, no one mentioned this, Saji was staring at the TV, dazed, and like "Die, Gundams". Maybe he'll become a psychopath villain next season.
He may become one of Alejandro's pawn or anyone elses but will realize later that he was wrong.
I'm not really looking forward to that.
I think it's quite "funny" that Aeolia himself was somehow able to produce this amazing suits and drives YET ye fails to atleast give him a decent glass protection, who get's penetrated by what? Measly bullets from a spoiled brat?

I have no idea what the future has in store for Saji, but whatever it is, he wasn't wrong. The CB was an ally of the Throne when the summary execution of the party people happened, and while they later clashed with the Throne, it wasn't them that took the Throne out of the sky and punished them. In fact, right now the CB saved the very Throne pilot who slaughtered all of Louise's relatives. What is going to happen next to Nena pretty much defines the moral standing the CB is going to adopt in the future.Originally Posted by Chiodos
If Nena is set free or even allowed to join the CB, it means the CB is ultimately the same as the Throne (anything can and will be sacrificed for the "peace", arbitrarily), or if they punish her by themselves or make sure she's punished by others (unlikely as she might have information they don't want the world powers to get) they would have the kind of higher moral standing Setsuna is always dreaming of.
Well, I guess more strictly speaking Setsuna could now let Nena go, this one time, to pay her back saving his own skin during the mass operation back then.
I don't think that they will really go that harsh on her. And if Setsuna DO somehow take her away from the ship it will turn into a another Gundam cliché. So far, this serie has atleast been avoiding that issue (or I havent paid enough attention).

I'd enjoy it if Setsuna decided to shoot her in cold blood... that'd be somewhat shocking... probably won't happen tho
the sight of Doctor Moreno made me lol. Guess the Loveless girl didn't do his character design...
"as you know, once he has entered the capsule, he cannot leave until he has recovered." This has to either be a horrible mistranslation or one of the stupidest future technology ideas I've ever heard.
Lockon's so going to get some sympathy sex from Tieria. Those two have the best interactions between the four main pilots. Maybe Felt will join in too.
Ali wins. I'm glad he killed Mihael first, his Gundam was definitely my favorite of the Trinity three. It's offensive capabilities matches his style also.
Johann let me down. And how the hell did Nena not kill Ali when he wasn't in a mobile suit and she was?
Aeolia Schenberg was so the type to sit around in cold sleep waiting for his dream world to be reawakened... Fortunately, he was also the type to make a back-up plan if someone as stupid and vindictive as alejandro showed up. And finally, Livonze didn't know something.
But I do despise sudden, convenient mobile suit upgrades. I despise them greatly
Humans are different from animals. We must die for a reason. Now is the time for us to regulate ourselves and reclaim our dignity. The one who holds endless potential and displays his strength and kindness to the world. Only mankind has God, a power that allows us to go above and beyond what we are now, a God that we call "possibility".
