They might be a bit overblured but it was a necessity, the scans were so grainy and dirty that this was the only way

Hmmm, until you use them as your actual signature for me to see all over the place, I can't see the full effect of what this will have.
But as it stands now, it makes for some nice art. I like the colours in particular (except maybe the white one).

I have several ideas concerning the Haseo and Alkaid shipping...
'A Soft Heart within a Hard Shell' -
I like this the best. Both are stubborn and of explosive character... yet they also care too much about their friends/loved ones. She's the Tsudere of hack as well, lol.
'Honeysuckle - Devoted Affection' -
It has significance towards the plot of GU, though I don't think this one would work with the Chim Chim background
'A Rogue and his Empress' -
He is an Adept Rogue... also know as Tri-Emperor (Demon Emperor, Holy Emperor and Sage Emperor) or Terror of Death... whereas she is a Twin Blade, and is the ex-Demon Empress

And I think its fine like that. The font I mean
I wonder if it would look even better if the white border was the same colour as the BG instead? It might produce a good effect similar to the things in the background.
I am not a fan of the text (the wording) itself though.

I think there is just too much text.
And the white border (on the text) doesn't help things.
I would put RZ in the bottom left corner instead of spelling out his entire username. Using a different font for it would be nice I think as well. Or put it in the bottom right corner along the girls lighter grey part of her shirt, maybe having to warp the text a bit to be in line with it. Then blend it in.
As for the rest of the text, I would make the first part bigger than the HxA part. You want the defining description to be more noticeable than who the characters are, or the characters that said it. Try what shinta suggested and make the border the same colour as the background, see if that has a better effect.
Lastly, it seems you only have half a border going on. While having the render appear over the border is fine, it seems like there isn't any border behind it. Most noticeable in the top right above the girls arm. Don't know if this was intentional or not.
Hope that is some decent criticism. I've never been very good at it, so I tried to go off what I would have done.
