Psyren Chapter 68 Onemanga
To those still reading it things get a bit more interesting. We now know why they weren't on that declaration of war and what brought down the destruction of mankind. Plus more humor.
Psyren Chapter 69 Onemanga
New Chap is out and I don't think I like it. I was okay with the Psychicer thing, I accepted the time travel thing but they better not start talking about Aliens.
Dreaming impossible dreams.
Sapphire is awesome!
I thought aliens were a given...? I don't know why, but I assumed that some outside factor was involved with this whole psychic thing when I was reading all 60 chapters in one go. Besides, should you really be drawing the line between what's plausible and not when there IS time travel, Armageddon, and human beings with ridiculously impossible powers?
Yeah I thought of the alien angle before too but I really hoped it wasn't going to go there. It has nothing to do with plausibility, I just don't like aliens. To be honest I can't think of a good reason why I feel that way, but I've hated the majority of series I've read that involved aliens so anytime aliens or extraterrestrials are mentioned I get uneasy.
They can call them monsters, or demons or even beings from a different dimension and it wouldn't bother me at all but mention aliens and its usually an automatic turnoff. And the way things are progressing it really doesn't look too promising.

That is probably because stories with aliens usually stereotype them too much, and they end up boring or uncool. I kind of agree with you regarding this latest development. This reminds me of Record of Fallen Vampire, but that still developed quite well so I'm still hopeful.
Peace.
Well, if this story does turn from uber cool to lame, can we predict that Oboro will turn over to the enemy's side? That, in my opinion, would make the story lame as the plot has made it obvious that I shouldn't trust him.
Let's hope it doesn't come to that. They explicitly told us we can't trust Oboro so I think him joining the enemy's side now would be kind of pointless. It would be best if he stayed with Ageha and the others and just kept his neutral, self absorbed stance. He is obviously still in love with himself and fascinated by Ageha so I expect him to stick close to him.
It wouldn't be too bad if somewhere down the line, after things have developed a bit, he decided it's his destiny to rule the world or destroy it or whatever but I think its too soon for that. They're still really weak and he is still just a drifter, besides the enemies seem to have enough elitist asses as it is.

Well, I'm finally catching up once again. Chapter 70 has been out for a couple of days:

And here's 71:

Well the ending certainly was unexpected. Perhaps the Wise are hunting Nemesis Q?
I don't know about them hunting Nemesis Q, I don't think they know who he is... but I wouldn't rule out they fighting each other coincidentally. Here's 72 anyways, haven't read it yet:

Interesting....The ending I mean. I did some digging and I found out who that guy at the end was.

Name is Usui and in the first chapter he was chasing Ageha to get the card to Psyren.
Looks like his group survived the chaos and is actively hunting Nemisis Q. Guess that was their reason for trying to get a Psyren card in the fist chapter.
Good catch. I wonder if they're an independent group or if they're in some way or manner cooperating with Wise.
About the rescue team, they're complete idiots for not taking Shao.
That is exactly what I thought. How do you not take the uber-powerful mind reader with the anti-psychic abilities. Its probably a bad sign, that Marie, Frederica and Kyle are just the ones that will match up best with the enemies they're about to meet.

Since I'm sure they'll travel back in time once more, I think those "kids" can die some meaningless deaths in the future. I very much doubt that they'll be stuck in the future permanently at the moment, though with the team being separated who knows? Though we've seen some people that have been stuck in Psyren before, so it would be possible for the team to be split with some returning to the past for the time being.Originally Posted by Abdula
Someone's got some splaining to do.
Normally I wouldn't because I think it's far too cliched at this point but its been awhile. So I like that they threw Shiro's name out there. Let's hope Usui will share his fate..
But really they gotta explain why this place seems to not be on the Wise's radar.
Didn't think of it that way but you're absolutely right. Other than Nemesis Q's creator and the drifters themselves of course, everything else is completely meaningless.Originally Posted by Munsu

Usui just seemed so familiar to me and I couldn't remember why. Anyway I figure it was worth the edit.
