lmao

The future of music, right here. You couldn't make it up.

this is sad considering country singers could always, y'know.....sing.

Its one thing for rappers with no talent to use it, but for someone who actually has a voice that doesnt sound like a garage door opening, its just retarded.

    Music is dead.

I loved last night's episode. I feel like I completely understand Tyler Perry's movies now. They railed on him in a way that's only been done by Matt Stone and Trey Parker.

I loved that guy's line in the waiting room. Something like "I need work. I can't sit around and wait for another Akeela and The Bee to come out".

And it's always funny to here Granddad talk about Friday.

Haha, I checked his imdb page and it was. I love little touches like that.

Well I guess now we know how Aaron McGruder feels about Tyler Perry. I don't think the show is able to be at its best when it's being so specific in its attacks. By that I mean when it's making fun of a particular individual or specific institution as opposed to the fandom of or general situation involving a certain individual or institution (e.g. the whole R. Kelly situation including reactions vs just R.Kelly's behavior).

For that reason this latest episode felt rather weak to me. In the first few minutes it felt like they exhausted their supply of criticisms and the rest of the ep was just rehashing the same stuff over and over.

Strong ending, but I agree the episode wasn't that funny. McGruder was RIGHT about Tyler Perry movies, everything was pretty spot on, but it just tried too hard.

It definitely wasn't the funniest, but I think the episode was good in its character interactions. I liked the running No Homo gag, at least. I think the weakest part of the episode was the end, where they had the Tyler Perry proxy say "I just want some ass." or whatever. That felt really forced.

I'm not usually a fan of Grandad episodes, but I liked that one.

I also just caught up on the rest of this season. I think the kickball episode will be the best of the season, followed by Riley's fund raising.

The fundraising the the funniest episode by far...i always love riley centered eps. The kickball one was good too cuz it had the classic Huey fight/martial arts stuff, but definitely not as funny as Fund Raising.

All right. I'm picking this series up again. It seems that everyone dropped it. I'm not sure which episode I'm on, so I'll start on episode 5.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

Having a boondocks episode made after you is legendary. I would kill for that

Really? I would be humiliated for the rest of my life if that were me, lol.

When's the next season?~! Oh, apparently next month! I hope it's better than last season.

I really hope it does come back next month, has there been any word since?

Here is an awesome score from season 4, supposedly made for when Huey
falls in love at first sight! (i guess the title of the vid spoils it
There's some stuff thrown in on top to discourage you from bootlegging it I guess, but you can still hear the awesomeness under.

Do you know when the actual premiere date is?

I have no idea, there's been no word of it whatsoever other than the commercial and some shady-ass sneak peaks (like the one above) here or there.

At this point I'm guessing it's going to be delayed for a few months at least. I mean, they're not just going to air it randomly with no advertising of any sort, right?
