Maybe I was wrong. Guess Jiraiya's going to be able to hold his own now and get Pein to worry about himself. Looks like the fights going to get intense now.
Wow! Naruto just keeps getting better and better and this fight seems like its gonna top all we've seen so far. Pein is seriously becoming my favourite character i never thought there would be someone i would like more than Itachi.
From all the summonings so far it would seem that he possesses a massive amount of chakra and were finally getting to seeing a good battle of strictly summons so far.If he is able to actually use all the elements without it being some lame ass reason i.e. Kakuzu and we still have no idea what his eyes are capable of yet. It seems that he is definitely worthy of being Akatsuki leader with God status pending the outcome of this battle.
Definitely think Jiraiya should die after this fight though it just all seems to be leading to that inevitable conclusion although i didn't see Asuma's death coming at all it seems Jiraiya will get a more fitting end than Asuma or even Orochimaru. Hope he goes out with a bang although i don't think anyone can top Deidara.

Kazuku could only use 5(fire, wind, lighting, earth, water). Jiraiya stated that Nagato could use six, which means it probably he's fucked...

Kakuzu could use any element that he had a heart for. He wasn't limited to just the 5, he just happened to have 5 hearts of different elements.

Besides, arn't all elements supposed to be able to be defeated by another one? So if there are 6 in total, even though Kakuzu had 5 I don't think it would be much of a disadvantage.
That sounds like you're saying that Kakuzu didn't have all 5 elements on him at any time(which at one point in his life might've been the case).
But you'd have to think that he would've thought having 5 different elemental hearts on his being at all times was a little more advantageous then going around looking for them like they were pokemon right?

It's pretty clear that each heart represents a different element, because when they manifest into their own distinct forms, each form uses a unique element. Also I'm pretty sure it was explicitly stated in that arc, since that was the same arc that introduced elemental affinities.
