The art isnt bad at all. It simply took a step from cute to sexy, bpth style wise and content wise.
I actually hope that there will be some semblance of romantic development between the characters. While I love this show for the comedy, it wouldnt hurt to get a bit of romance from the main characters.

Ayako TL refuses to do Okawari?!
If Ayako doesn't do it I can't see much hope in anyone else doing it since all of fansubdom is currently focused on Spice and Wolf...This is a great tragedy for the community and I can only hope there's a light at the end of this tunel.
I haven't watched the raw yet, but according to those responses the TL thinks it's that much different from season 1?
they made us taste the humor of season 1 and take it away with season 2.... aaaahhhhhh ayoka are bad people! bad people! i totally feel like my friend down there at the moment. they gave me a beautiful bucket and take it away then 8[
You can count on Ayu to sub it. Ep 1 should be out in about 6 months.
Yeah....by the time Ayu finishes anything the next fad has usually come out and as a professional fad follower I've usually moved on by then. It's too bad really, I loved Hosaka and this show so much, but I can't pretend like I won't slowly forget him if I don't get to see him at all for months.

Reviews for this group are not positive, or even optimistic, to say the least.
What reviews? this is their first sub and they are only subbing it. No karaoke, wishing for better timing, and some stuff not translated and encoding can be improved but still they could be worse. I hope they try to improve for second episode.

Yeah, it wasn't anything to write home about but it's still a lot better than watching the raw (didn't try to watch a raw, personally, though). No doubt they have potential to get better for the next eps. I do wish an experienced group would sub this series but as it looks like that's not going to happen, I'm happy enough with this. Even though this first ep wasn't nearly as funny as the eps of the first season.
Too much fan service for a series like Minami-ke.
It's just not what Minami-ke is or about.
hmmm i don't see why no known group subs okawari... it is actually very funny. the whole "bath" thing in the first episode was pretty amusing..but i have to admnit the first 5-10 minutes wern't that good... but when they made they journey to that bath-house it started to be funny ...like in old-minami-ke days.
such a waste... the new animation-style is really pretty too... banchou looks somehow more mature... his hairstyle reminds me from that blonde guy in Eureka Seven..i think he was called Moondoggie or something like that
and even though i should be gratefull that this group subs okawari, its annoying to read something like "we arn't translating this brabbling" or just "okay" when the person is talking for like 5 seconds..

I watched the episode 2 raw and it's got back into the Minami feel of things I guess.
But I'm wondering if Touma's 3 brothers are first season originals? Are they going to be reintroduced again?

I watched this sub of the second ep, and it indeed went towards the first season. Some fanservice was still present (not that I minded), and not as much humour in my opinion, but it's getting there.
I hope her brothers are still there. They were funny enough fellows.
