Ookiku Furikabutte
OverDrive
Initial D
Nasu
Capeta
Suzuka
Wow, thanks!
Oh yeah, forgot to mention I've seen Initial D! One of my first anime ever.
I'll check those out, thanks Munsa.
Why go with recent? There are great old ones, like:
Touch
Aoki Densetsu Shoot
Hungry Heart (not sure if this is old)
Slam Dunk
Grappler Baki (if you consider freestyle fighting a sport)
There are also quite recent ones like:
Prince of Tennis (havent watched this, but a lot of people seem to like it)
Whistle
Captain Tsubasa road to 2002
IGPX Immortal Grand Prix (yeah its mecha, but racing is still a sport)
Dear Boys
Peace.
I'm actually interested in a new series called Wangan Midnight. Haven't seen any of it yet, so glad to read any comments you guys have. Will post up what I think too when I get around to downloading some episodes.
Unfortunately according to the feedback in the dedicated thread here Wangan Midnight isn't anything to call home about.
Hmm, seems like it. I'll wait to see if the storyline picks up, while I look for more

^ There is a reason for that thread -- use it.
@Ryl and Munsu - Ive seen the stuff you recommended to me. Some were pretty interesting, like Mars daybreak, Heat guy J and Aoki Densetsu Shoot, but stuff like Betterman made me feel I was better off not watching. If you guys (this goes to everyone) have anything else (it has to be at least of average quality and is not so popular, otherwise, I have probably seen it) to suggest, I will be grateful.
Peace.
There's always Ebichu the Housekeeping Hamster, dirtiest anime I've ever seen that was actually broadcast.
Not sure I suggested it last time, Galaxy Angel. There's several seasons of it, and it's mostly just one slapstick scene after another. 1st season has a really catchy OP.
If you can ever find the 80's classic (beyond the 12 or so eps subbed a few years ago), Cat's Eye, I'll be impressed.
I assume you've seen Scyred, if not, it's a decent shonen diversion.
You're Under Arrest has gotten somewhat obscure lately. But probably big enough that you've seen it. Police comedy/drama.
Tenshi na Konamaiki. I can't say I've seen the anime, but the manga is pretty funny. It's a gender bender, in the same vein of Ranma 1/2, only permanent, and less wackiness.
Speaking of Ranma 1/2, Takahashi's older title, Maison Ikkoku was very good. The manga is one of my favorites, and I believe the anime was a fairly well done adaptation.
You've probably seen them, but Gatekeepers and Gatekeepers 21 were good titles as well.
I'm out of ideas for now.
Here are a couple more you should check out:
Fantastic Children
Airmaster
Area 88
Earth Girl Arjuna
Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water
Secret of Cerulean Sand: Adventures of Patapata Aircraft
Cinderella Boy
Gakuen Alice
Gankutsuou
Gokusen
Top wo Nerae: Gunbuster
Gunsmith Cats
Ive seen Gokusen, Top wo Nerae, Gankutsuou, Earth Girl Arjuna, Area 88, and fantastic children. Ill check out the rest, then decide which to download.
@Ryll - Ill check out Ebichu, Tenchi no Konamaiki, and Cat's eye since Ive seen the others.
Thanks a lot!
Peace.
Hey all. I Have been watching anime for about 2 years, and I'm having trouble finding new series that I want to watch. Here are the ones that I have watched:
Naruto (1 - 26, then I got bored)
Bleach (a few eps here and there, but I WILL be watching more)
FLCL (One Of My Favorites)
The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya (Another one of my favorites)
Neo Genesis Evangelion (the one I am currently watching)
Full Metal Alchemist (Ok.... but not my favorite)
Kenshin (again not my favorite, but ok)
Any recommendations are welcome. Thanks!
EDIT: Started watching Murder Princess, not really my type of anime but I really like it for some reason. I think the best part is that it's a 5 OVA series. Nice and short compared some other animes (Naruto, with like 80000 eps)

for gonzo : there are about 100 good eps after 26 of naruto... maybe give it another chance.
for gonzo and others :
Outlaw Star (subbed of course... dub if you like it)
Inuyasha
Full Metal Alchemist (if you haven't seen this, you need to. One of the best series' ever)
Gundam Wing (so good)
I wont recommend anymore at this time.
This pair makes me absolutely recommend "Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei". I'm not a big fan of comedic anime, but this one is zany and crazy like FLCL, but full of crazy characters like Haruhi.Originally Posted by gonzo
If you like Evangelion (or mecha at all) I'd recommend 8th MS Team, arguably the best of the Gundam series ever. If you're still in the realm of wanting some crazy futuristic, apocalyptic mecha, try out Zegapain or RahxephonNeo Genesis Evangelion (the one I am currently watching)
And, whether you like mecha or not, you should watch Code Geass.
Humans are different from animals. We must die for a reason. Now is the time for us to regulate ourselves and reclaim our dignity. The one who holds endless potential and displays his strength and kindness to the world. Only mankind has God, a power that allows us to go above and beyond what we are now, a God that we call "possibility".
What's FLCL?
Code Geass is a must.
<3 Tessa-chan! <3 Lucifus! ....chotto mate.
Wow. Thanks for all the suggestions Guys/Gals. I will be checking out "Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei" as well as all the others mentioned. Thanks SOOOO much for all your suggestions.
EDIT: I watched the first ep of Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei, and I didn't really like it. Ill give it one more ep, but so far its been just a little bit too weird. I'm gonna go check out outlaw star next.
