Look at Kidoumaru and Sakon/Ukon. I really do not think these two were like these because Oro expermimented on them... because if he did... why didn't he did so as well with Jiroubu and Tayuya?

Zabuza wasn't fishy at all.

it's getting good... i didn't want to sit there and examine the spoilers too much. but i couldn't help but notice the one picture looks as if there is a giant hand grabbing the ledge in front of pein.

well it looks like the fight between pein and Jiraiya will finally take place, and if Jraiya is going to die, it'll probably happen soon. like either next chapter or the one after it.

Well, but so far the fishy-ness hasn't given Kisame any distinguished strengths that ordinary ninjas wouldn't possess.

@Assertn: You're right his fishiness hasn't really been shown to be beneficial as far as we can tell, but I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out his face gills let him breath under water or something.

@RyougaZell: Way way back in the day Zabuza revealed his teeth for a short period and they were pointy much like Kisame's (and I believe Suigetsu's). It is possibly that they all just filed them to be that way but it seems unlikely that all three of the former Mist ninja would have done the same thing to their teeth without some sort of common reason.

Their teeth must be that sharp for a reason. Maybe since they're in the line of assassination, and they're de-armed they'd have a last resort of weapon using their teeth.

Yeah but the ability to breathe and swim underwater is of relatively minor significance, since ninjas can already walk on water and hold their breath for a really long time anyway.

As amused as I am with with Pein's Crab Monster and Death Chamelean I'm still expecting a lot more seeing how he's been hyped up so much with his keyser sosee attitude and ubber death eyes.

Also with Jiraya's hair was anyone reminded of the yugi oh Abridged Series?

Although I can't help but wonder if Jiraiya has anything else besides frogs and hair, I know those tend to be the two mainstays of all his jutsu's but the guy has to have something else up his sleeves, right?

and the fire jutsu... but everyone knows the fireball jutsus are relatively useless when a main character uses it...

Jiraya's hair and frogs serve a large number of roles which would reduce his need for lots of other techniques. He also seems to have a good intrinsic understanding of the nature of things, as evidenced by the sealing of the black fire from Amaterasu and his perception of Oro's Five Elements Seal. Having enough insight and experience to make the best of the tools he has seems more ninja like than having tons and tons of jutsu just to have them.

i hope all that dialogue is going to be revealing, otherwise it will be a slow chapter. It does look like he didn't get the frog he wanted, but at least that one isn't tiny.

That would be a good plot device to seperate him from Oro even more. Considering all Oro wants is every Jutsu, and Jairaya is content with what he has.

I think Nouvelle (I still don't know how his name is spelled) is the one who said the same thing about his dynamite, and so did the people of Manhaten project, didn't Jiraya teach them history?
I can't understand what kind of beast does Payne summon, it increadibly stupid looking...
also, at least we know that a person can summon more than one type of cretures, might turn out as a useful information.

the new frog, Kensan, I wonder whether he is the bigger toad king, or just a warrior type toad, while Gamabunta is still the 'leader'?

also, Perhaps Madare supports Payne's plan becuase something will happen when all beasts are together, maybe it'll cuase more demons to come and overflow the earth, maybe they'll point at a legendary tresure of porn mags, maybe they'll grant him a wish (to revieve Rin, maybe?).

last thing, it might be a translation thing, but the scan says yahiko has been dead for a long time, which could imply that his death is a continous state, such as being a vegteble, or being 'morally' dead, or being 'animated zombie' dead. rather than saying Yahiko has died a long time ago, which would make his death a perremnt fact.
but that's probably a translation thing.
