I suppose having a script written isn't all that big a deal. The guy who wrote the first one probably went ahead and wrote another 2 while he was at it. It'll still depend on this movie's performance. If it's a complete bog, good luck greenlighting the rest.

The special effects looks pretty good and the story is coherent enough for DBZ standards.
I will watch this with a very open mind.
I just booked tickets for tonight's premiere. Will write a review when I get back

Yeah, based on your review, as well as some others I've just read, it seems this movie is just legitimately bad.
Not in a "oh, such-and-such was different in the manga, they've raped my childhood," way. Apparently it's just a poorly made movie in all aspects.
If it's as bad as you say it is Psyke, I may not see this at all.
