This show feels just like Power Rangers, action, clothing and all.

All I can say this movie will be an epic failure due to how the trailer was made lol. It looks like transformer but worse. Also the names of American Actors doing such a movie doesnt fit at all.

On my opinion Japanese people do a better job then HollyWood. No offense but thats how I see it.
    Signature Coming Soon ^.^

Obviously it depends on the subject matter, but for a movie like this, Japanese would definitely do a better job. The campiness fits better with Japanese (or Asian) culture. Read the entire thread for the good stuff.

And Transformers was a great movie.

Where the dreamer and his dream?

You obviously haven't seen the Death Note movie, or you just have really bland taste or a huge bias.

Consider how the Japanese would have done it if they got a chance. I think Buffalobiian said it best:

He obviously meant something else, but it still stands. I guarantee this is how the Japanese would have done it. Head thrusting while talking, clenched fists raised to face level to show determination, and all the terrible dialog to go with it.

<@Terra> he told me this, "man actually meeting terra is so fucking big", and he started crying. Then he bought me hot dogs

True, but only for the horror films. The Hollywood remakes were terrible, in my opinion.

I prefer the sad story movies done by Japanese. Nothing like an incurable disease to make you weepy.

I think romantic comedies are better from Hollywood, the Japanese just aren't as carefree and outgoing when it comes to romance.

If the movie even has remotely the kind of action in this short indie film, ill be happy:

Ugh, Those indie filmmakers would prolly make the perfect dragonball movie with 50 million in hollywood money.

Wow that's an amazing take on live-action DBZ!! It's exactly like the anime but with people. The fight sequences are spot-on and had me cheering on Saiya-man. If the movie incorporates the frenetic action of this indie it might be saved. Unfortunately we know it won't.

The movie's never going to be like this cause it's too similar to the anime and we all know that the movie will strive to be original.....

It always bugged me in DBZ how it took longer for them to do that teleporting movement than it would for them to actually just perform the action quickly on-screen.

I agree that the action should be over the top, but none of us know that it isn't. The only review we've seen, unreliable or not, praises the action as the best part of the movie.

Off topic post, but I just wanna post this picture of a soon to be released Kamesennin tissue paper holder. Not that I'm keen to get it though.

Part of the trailer out on Japanese TV. Check it out now, might not last long.

Especially the scene where Piccolo single-handedly blew up a city.

bahha, the close-up on Chawtin's face when he spin-kicks is awful. why did anyone think it's a good idea to show us a face twitching in slow-motion?
    other than that, it's a +1 trailer!

sig made by Itachi-y2k5, thanks, dude!
Currently Watching: probably a show directed at 9 years old girls, lets be honest.

You know the important distinction between Batman and me? Batman is fictional. In real life, there isn't always an alternative.
