    ComingSoon.net has learned that 20th Century Fox will debut the first trailer for Dragonball in theaters on October 17 with the studio's video game adaptation Max Payne, starring Mark Wahlberg. We'll have to wait and see whether Fox will release the trailer online earlier that week.

    Opening on April 10, Dragonball is written/directed by James Wong and stars Justin Chatwin, James Marsters, Jamie Chung, Emmy Rossum, Eriko Tamura, Joon Park, Chow Yun-Fat, Texas Battle, Randall Duk Kim and Ernie Hudson.

    Dragonball is adapted from the manga created by Akira Toriyama. It was also turned into a Japanese anime series that played all over the world.

    Looking good. They some what changed Piccolo's facial features a bit, but luckily not too much. Can't wait for the trailer.

    Lord Piccolo was pretty much identical to the Piccolo we know from DBZ. He certainly wasn't white.

    Not that Vanilla Piccolo is a bad thing in itself, just jarring to see that they went with that choice.

    Not bad, the film seems to be coming together with more of a DBZ look and feel than originally feared. Though how hard would it have been to give Piccolo green prosthetics instead of white? He looks more demonic instead of brooding/angry like the Piccolo from the anime.

    Well, I can come up with multiple theories... one being to make the change more drastic on screen so that there's a noticeable difference. Paleness has often been associated with old age.

    Maybe he's actually a light green at the moment, but the brightness and light of the set makes it look like it's whiter than it actually it is.

    But either way, I think he looks quite creepy and looks pretty good in my opinion.

    I dont know how I feel about Goku in his outfit, but I am still geeked for this flick.

    Even the Bulma poster looked cooler than I expected it to.

    I am hoping that it is more dark than anything.

    You never know, it could surprise you. Although most movie adaptations arent quite what the show is, due to the fact that they alter some events, but I mean they cant make a "remake" with real people, they have to change some stuff up. Will be interesting to see how "super-powerful" they make it. See if they dont try to down play the powers. And focus on the martial arts more.

    it looks a lot like a rush-hour clone in that thing..
    if it was filmed in mexico, i'd expect to see some nature scenery in it, not the train station.
