If I'm the only one who's running into Youtube take downs every time I try to view the trailer sorry for wasting anyone's time, however one of the kids on MT found this: http://www.dragonballfilm.es/portal.htm?pid=11 the trailer is in English even though the site is in Spanish and it seems the take down monkeys don't care about websites that aren't in English.
I must echo DBZ's displeasure. It sounded to me like there is some sort of 'Save the cheerleader, save the world' type prophecy plot device in this movie. Now I know that I'm not supposed to come to any sort of negative opinions based on anything in the trailer (though drawing positive conclusions seem to be allowed by the fan boy patrol) but I'm not about to let fanboy-acism dictate how I think.
I noticed that those first lines Mater Roshi said about having to find the Dragon Balls rhymed and sounded like they were only part of something longer. That was my first hint. Then when on Roshi referenced 'the prophecy' my worries increased even more.
But I know, just because an old monk-like guy says part of a doomy sounding rhyme and then later the same guy references a prophecy, and these are two out of the three things spoken in the whole trailer doesn't mean anything at all. Only a moron would think the two lines are 1) related to one another at all 2) related to anything that actually takes place in the film. I mean come on, this is a trailer, it's not like trailers ever have anything to do with the actual plots of movies. Ex. remember that weird Martian rover trailer for Transformers? Transformers didn't take place on Mars now did it?
Some other things I didn't particularly like (mostly just in comparison to the original):
Every single energy blast they showed was one handed...couldn't we get one 2 hander in the trailer? Hopefully they didn't completely do away with the gesture I spent many an afternoon of my childhood perfecting the execution of lest any aliens or robots attack me.
Bulma took a level or two in badass and picked up the Dual Wielding Feat?! I don't remember Bulma even having Weapon Proficiency (Ranged).
Mai seems to have eaten Shu and absorbed what his powers were supposed to be. She seems to be effective looking ninja Dragon (sub-boss). Now I don't think this is a bad thing for the movie at all since Mai and Shu were kind of retarded, but this cool Mai/Shuu hybrid is kind of hot and she seems somewhat effective. Where are the bumbling lackeys I so fondly remember?
Yamcha seems a little more peppy then I remember..and was that a giant drill he had?
Goku trying to look serious in the one scene where he was just walking with someone looked really stupid to me.
Thinks I did like:
There was an eclipse, if it was actually be in context then that should mean they summon the dragon, which I would definitely go to the movie just to see.
Mai is kind of hot, could just be the outfit though.
Chi Chi is hot, but having seen her on the Real World kind of messes it up.
Piccolo looks moderately creepy.
Master Roshi looks like he kicks ass.

Even Munsu is arguing about the prophecy thingy but yeah Goku does look stupid when he looks serious in the trailer. DBTheMovie has posted an image of what seems to be Goku in a transformed state, though it's likely to be unfinished. Oozaru? Judging from the responses, fans are getting upset by the picture.....

we've seen kong in a new movie already, now we just need him to shoot lasers from his mouth (unless Goku suddenly learns to control this form in the movie... GOUHHA!). it's not such a big problem, it really isn't!
also, the ozaru form wasn't human sized, and the scenery doesn't seem to be full moon light.
ahh, well, never mind. as long as he doesn't defeat picolo in this form...
did any of the goku pictures feature a tail?

At this point it's obvious they're just taking elements from the Dragonball story and incorporating them into the movie. This isn't a direct adaptation, so if he doesn't have a tail and still transforms, then don't be surprised. Do you have any proof that it really was fox that mad them take it down? May be just some elaborated rouse to makes us think that crappy gargoyle thingy is actually gonna show up in the movie.
At this point I'm sure it's real. It looks really disturbing, but let's just hope they CGI it up to look cooler.

I don't really have much to say... rumors say that Piccolo gets greener towards the end of the movie, and Roshi we've seen a few times already.
the Bulma pic is interesting.. she is less "OMFG! BADASS HOT FAM-FATALE!" she has a sort of alt-look, which I can't say is bad, but I also can't say matches my 'vision' of her. it still looks very nice.
