I don't get why they cast Goku white but Chichi yellow? Considering Emmy Rossum is the hottest chick on the set, will they try to make a Goku/Bulma relationship side story? That would definitely deviate from the anime.

Meh, at this point I don't think it matters who is playing as who. I've had low expectations for this movie from the beginning. Although yes, Emmy Rossum is indeed the hottest chick on the set. The guy playing Yamcha is one lucky bastard since he'll probably score with her in the movie...

The first time I saw Emmy Rossum was when she was around 14 years old in a small role on Law and Order where she played a middle-eastern kid whose parent wanted to give her a female circumcision, in accordance with their local customs to curtail her "wild" ways. I thought even then that she would be someone amazing to watch when she matured.

The website above is a blog giving most of the updates on the movie. If you check the cast, there's two villains listed: Piccolo and Mai (which I'm assuming is the girl beneath Yamcha). Mai was one of Emperor Pilaf's subordinates (Pilaf is the first villain Goku faces in Dragonball if you don't remember).
If it's true, I guess their going to have adult Goku face off against Emperor Pilaf as well as Piccolo? I only remember Goku facing off against Pilaf's group as a child but then he did meet them at the beginning of GT when he was grown up (but then turned into a child by a wish from the dragon).

On the subject of hair, I thought that Sousuke from the current Super Sentai series Engine Sentai Go-Onger has dragonball-like quality to it. I wouldn't mind if Gokou has hair like this.

I can go with that. I've kind of given up on having the characters actually looking like the original, since they're not eve trying to resemble them. Just throwing in something remotely symbolic so they can say "This is so and so....(points to prop)...see."
