I just rasterbated all over my wall.

Rasterbation, the act of using the Rasterbator.

Well me and my roommate found that our walls in our dorm were bare... absolutely bare. I just bought a laser printer and remembered something my brother showed me a while back. Rasterbations. I like them, and decided to try my hand at some Rasterbating. Actually I just like saying Rasterbate. But making the images is fun too. Here are a few of the ones I have made so far.

This first one is the second one I made, it is 3x3 or 9 sheets of paper. It is the cover from the Abby Road album by the Beatles:

This second one is an imitation of the first, it didn't turn out quite as well as i wanted, i tried to go too small dot size for its size. but it is 5x5 or 25 sheets of paper:

This last one is of me and my Niece, it is 2x2 or 4 sheets of paper:

Also, for the Rasterbator, so you can do these yourself, their website is:
    The Rasterbator

Lets see what yall can make, for anyone that is willing to make one.

I should so that with something... my walls are pretty bleak with the exception of a wall scroll.

I wanna Rasterbate! I wanna! XD Yay boredom.

I'm not one to judge, Spiegel, but do you actually have a giant picture of yourself up on your wall...?

Thanks for the link though. This could come in handy.

Rasterbate is genius. Just a tip, print it out on school. It's expensive!

    @Spiegel Nice pictures.

I would print out on schools, but they charge for it. That is why I invested in a Laser printer... Not just to Rasterbate, but because they work much better and in the long run cost less.

To XanBcoo: Yes that is a 2x2 image of me and my niece.....

    To Koyuki: Thank you

To saman: Have a picture of it?

interestingly enough, it's right below another poster that's also been rastersized, although i didn't print that one myself:

That is a very good assembly job, I am not quite that good. It is mainly my cutting ability. I can't really cut a strait line.

This is actually pretty cool, I'm now thinking of buying a printer just to make some cool gaming posters. Question though, should this only be done with a laser printer?

Nope, you can do it with any printer, just keep in mind how much ink you are using. Also, with inkjet printers it takes more time to print them out. I only said laser printer because that was the particular printer I was using.

well, if you're looking to print colour posters, you'll have to get a colour laser printer, which are usually very expensive. then again, if you get an inkjet printer, you spend a good deal of money on ink cartridges anyway, though it's still cheaper than buying a colour laser printer. i personally would recommend going to a copy center and getting them to make it. it's more professional, less of a hassle, and probably cheaper.

    edit: outposted!

    wow, this is cool stuff...
If I could do it, I'd get myself an extra 'window' rasterbated, maybe with some snowy view of the mountains...

both, of both (both my army room and my home room).
but mostly fascination with optical illusions and mind tricks.
I'd also like to get a mirror posted on my wall (mirroring something static, like a plant or a bookshelf, and also, I'd put "a corridor" on one of the walls, or post a 'wall' over my door, making it a room with no exits.

Don't have my camera with me, so this is a webcam shot:

Buckethead didn't turn out as clean looking as I would have liked. Even with the dot size at its smallest, the picture is still a bit...dotty.

    On the wall:

    You use 1mm dot size?

The smallest value from the drop down menu was 7mm. If there's a way to get it smaller, I'd love to hear it...

Edit: Nevermind. I was using the online Rasterbater before. I didn't realize you could get a smaller dot size with the downloadable version. I'll have to redo this on Monday.

That is what I figured you were doing, I hated waiting for the online rasterbator. Just remember not to go too small with black and white because some color differentiations will not show if they are close enough together like in my Simpson's poster with Marge's suit.

Reprinted with a better resolution. Looks ten times better:

Gonna do one of Freddie Mercury next.

Now that is a very nice poster. Once I get more ink for my printer I should be doing some more smaller ones. They should be easier then doing a 25 piece one on my first go.
