Well, Tobi/Madara is the one giving Akatsuki its orders, it's not that big a deal for the organization if Pein dies. Sure, they lose a strong figher, and Tobi will have to reveal himself to all of Akatsuki, but they'll still have a leader.

Nah Kakashi can't die. At the end of the series, we have to see Kakashi visiting that grave(was it Obito's) again and talk about how long it's been and blah blah blah with Sadness and Sorrow playing in the background. But then it's Shippuuden, their new music suck.

Then we cry.

Shippudden has failed at pretty much everything so far, not just the music. Lets hope the recent picking up of the pace is an indication of good things to come.

The pacing is pretty much like the pre-timejump.. The only reason it feels any slower is because of the dull pathetic music.

Yeah, the earlier Shipuuden episodes have been rather slow and drawn out. It didn't help that within the first ten episodes or so they wound up recycling the same five tracks. I must admit though, recently they've made up for it in terms of the new stuff they've been using for the Sasori fight scenes (especially in the hugly climatic 10 vs. 100 episode).

Honestly, I must say that episode for me anyway redeemed all of the misgiving so far in shipuuden. It was perfectly editied, perfectly scored and makes me feel considerably excited for the upcoming appearance of the 4-tails.

Yea, I think Kakashi's MS should have been ketp a secret until the ep he actually inleashed it. That would have made it the biggest WTF?? factor in Shippudden so far.
