Garp is Luffy's Grandpa.
And he's the same person training the pink hair and the son of the captain from the very very first arc. Aren't they? Kinda cool. I think they would meet each other very very soon.
Oh, this keeps getting better and bettter. Btw, was it Zoro's cursed sword that got melted? I really hoped he kept Funkfried (The elephant sword), would be kinda cute and lots of hilarity would have ensued if Zoro kept Funkfried (Halfway chopping through a baddie, and funkfried changes into a elephant in Zoro's mouth because it fell asleep).
I think the sword that got melted was the sword that sword salesmen gave to him, the one that was his families (not 100% sure if this is correct)
but it isnt the cursed sword, i think
and I too, thought that Saul was Luffy's grandpa, because Aokiji said that he had faced him before. So this was quite aa suprise

should've seen this before. i don't know if the manga showed it, but in the anime there was an episode where garp takes in coby and helmeppo. in that episode, he was being just as stupid as luffy was, how many donuts can he eat before falling asleep. luffy is just like him. man, it was shown right in front of my face.

actually if you read from past chapters of the manga, zoro had four swords (even though he doesnt use four). he used that sword to get out of the chimney he was stuck in after the first encounter with CP9.Originally Posted by Stoopider

I didn't think that was going to happen I thought they were going to have some kind of talk, not a fight though.
Now, the next ship they get is the one they're going to have for the rest of the series, or a good long part of it. As it's made of the same wood that the Roger's ship was made of.

Zoro never had four swords at once, I'm 99% sure of it.
Zoro only has three swords (Wadou Ichimonji[white scabbard], Yubashiri[black scabbard] and Sandai Kitetsu[cursed red scabbard]). The sword he used to get out of the chimney was the Sandai Kitetsu which he dropped when Lucchi threw him out of the room in Iceburg's place. That's why Chopper had it.

read chapter 363 of one piece manga. chopper gave the kitetsu that zoro asked for to get out of the chimney. whatever happened to the fourth sword, its beyond me, but he indeed in fact had four swords at one point. (like i said before, he doesnt use four swords, he owned four swords.)
Yeah, also didn't Zoro confirm it was the Sandai Kitetsu? Since you know, he could "feel" the curse of that one.

where did chopper get an extra sheath from? note when he came out of the burning galley-la building, the sword had no sheath. when he went to zoro, the sword was sheathed. i doubt chopper had extra time on his hands to find another sheath, unless someone gave him one. besides, when zoro got smacked by lucchi, it never showed him losing grip on his katana. i'll just let you believe whatever you want to believe and i'll just let myself believe whatever i want to believe. if im wrong, so be it.
