I was thinking.....wondered of Orochimaru's soul transfer would have worked on Sasori.
And the ending clips always round the show off nicely.

Uhm is it just me or does 21:25 looks like he's using the rasengan to fly now? what the hell?

Well I must say that it's a step up from rainbow rasengans, either way aside from the teaser episode that it's a good ep.

Controlling all those masses of iron sand must have drained him pretty well already. So, it's now a fight between two characters of very little juice left in them.
It doesn't take a manga spoiler to point out all the scrolls on Sasoris back....

Scrolls? Shouldn't those be his summoning scrolls? Every summonable creature should have the original contract scroll. Sasori probably suffers from no lack of puppets, flesh or traditional.

I guess that's possible, but for the sake of consistency I hope not. After all, then it would be possible, in theory, to build a chakra machine. A chakra generator for unlimited chakra. Let's say for example a water mill that would convert the kinetic energy of a river into a gigantic continuously replenishing pool of chakra a secret village could use for a truly absolute defence. Well, I guess that would be kind of cool as well...

it does seem as unlikely as the clones that must not be spoken of that a non human body could have a lot of chakra generating from it. Kisame's sword is one exception. I think we can say that it's not likely that his entire body is made of doll parts.

Depending on the different culture, the 'chakras' are traditionally manifested in various parts of the human body (wikipedia's article on this is horrible...) and sometimes generated in several parts of the body. But, almost every time Kishimoto shows one of his explanatory diagrams, it's evident that the most chakra is concentrated in the chest area. I've taken that to mean that all chakra is generated from there.

Humans are different from animals. We must die for a reason. Now is the time for us to regulate ourselves and reclaim our dignity. The one who holds endless potential and displays his strength and kindness to the world. Only mankind has God, a power that allows us to go above and beyond what we are now, a God that we call "possibility".

The heart was the biggest source, I thought.

    that would make sense.

i know its all to build suspense but it really feels like theyre dragging the fights out now.
and i have a feeling '3 minutes' is going to last about 3 or maybe more episodes.

tbh i wouldnt mind it if the fights get good again.

Well, what Kishi calls 'chakra' is called 'qi', 'ki', or 'chi' in real life (depending on which language you're transliterating). The chakras are places where ki collects and does stuff. Kind of like Kishi's chakra gates. Presumably, Kishi didn't use 'ki' because Toriyama already did (like how Hunter x Hunter uses 'nen' for the same basic idea).

I bet the chakra article on Wikipedia will make a lot more sense to you now.

good episode, I agree with everyone on the long minute thing but other than that, it felt fast paced. I didnt like naruto + kakashi scene as much but the omake at the end was so good, i didnt even know that Oro left Akatsuki bcause he failed to take Itachi's body. But what I dont understand is, if Sasori's head is a puppet, then is his brain stored inside? or does he somehow think without one? I liked how Kakashi commented himself as smart as Shikamaru, and I agree with him. Go go kakashi :thumbs up:

Wow, all of this happy talk is making me wonder if I should stop my self-imposed 10 episode wait period before watching Naruto again.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

Nah, at this point you might as well wait for the battle to be over. We'll tell you when.

I can clearly see what the bad episodes of Naruto is doing to this forum.
In the beginning with the Shippuuden episodes, each episode topic got like 8 pages, now we should be happy if it gets to 3...

It's noticeable that Naruto isn't doing very well...

This particular stretch wasn't too popular in the manga discussions either.

Yeah, I remember being bored as fuck during the Sasori fight in the manga because it seemed so slow (due simply to chapters being rather short). However, afte reading back over it all at once, it isn't too bad.

I can second that. It has good strategy, it is a little long, but it is nice to see Sakura holding her own and getting hurt and still going strong.
