    Naruto Shippuuden Episode 25

Last edited by masamuneehs; Fri, 08-17-2007 at 12:38 AM.

Humans are different from animals. We must die for a reason. Now is the time for us to regulate ourselves and reclaim our dignity. The one who holds endless potential and displays his strength and kindness to the world. Only mankind has God, a power that allows us to go above and beyond what we are now, a God that we call "possibility".

Nice to see another good episode, especially without any repetetive needle dancing or poorly animated clone fights.

If you haven't read the manga, you're in for a real treat when the Deidara fight continues.

It better be fucking good. Naruto has been synonymous with failure as of late.

    Very nice episode.
For a minute I was worried about the '3 minute' thing, but it was managed nicely and didn't really feel stretched.
The 'omake' at the end ruled.

I'm not sure if it was on the last episode, but I thought the new OP animation looked nice.

not a bad episode, but not great either. i find it terribly ridiculous that all that is supposed to happen in one minute.

on the up-side, some decent animation, the part with Kakashi and the jumping spiders was rather decent, and not as much scene-switching (although the extended flashbacks were a bit annoying). also, Sasori's puppet form is excellent. the extra bit at the end was nice too, i thought.

@Bud: the new OP and ED animation is essentially a trailer for the Naruto Shippuuden Movie.

also, on NarutoBuzz's releases: pretty bad stuff. obvious lack of QC to get it out as fast as they did... truly they didn't 'analize' enough...

Yeah I know, but it was nice seeing it as the OP... the animation looked good.

And yeah, it's ridiculous that all that happened within one-minute. What I do to try and fool myself is to tell myself that all the things that they are thinking actually takes a couple of seconds because you always think faster than you actually talk.

The next two minutes is just for the poison immunity. Doesn't mean the battle has to end in two minutes.

Heh, as soon as Kakashi jumped behind the log and popped back out again I knew it was a clone.

The thing about the opening, is while the last episode was also a movie trailer, this one was actually completely different from the last one.

Basically, I don't need to even watch the movie now because I've seen every good part.

The episode was pretty slow, I do always hate when a minute lasts a whole episode. If they know how long the episode is gonna actually take, they should just change the time in the anime to match how long they're actually gonna go.

Still, its not as bad as that one time One Piece stretched a 10 second countdown across an entire episode. And otherwise, it was good. Puppet Sasori is badass, the Diedera fight finally had SOMETHING happen, and thank god we didn't have to watch a single second of Gai's team.

That was the longest minute I've ever experienced in my life. This episode sucked just like every other single Shippuuden episode.

The only redeeming part of this episode was when it ended.

1/10 only because Kakashi running away was more bearable than watching Chiyo speak.

A decent episode. A lot better than most of the past ones. Like Necromas said, the absence of the boring as hell close fights was a definite plus. Whilst nothing decisive really happened in this episode, the doll already having been braken in the last one, it looks like in both fights the real countdown began. Jolly good. Especially for the Deidara fight, which might have been better termed Deidara flight, of course.

Thinking of Sasori, though, it seems logical that beating him won't take much effort anymore. That's naturally good news for Sakura who's all but finished herself. What I mean is that since Sasori has replaced so much of his biological body with mechanical components, his ability to generate chakra must be greatly decreased. Controlling all those masses of iron sand must have drained him pretty well already. So, it's now a fight between two characters of very little juice left in them.

Maybe it had been a minute since Sakura started talking, but it doesnt mean that all the flashbacks, and the Naruto/Kakashi parts happened during that same minute...

I liked the episode, built some good tension for the next one. Sasori as a puppet looks badass.

What's wrong with stating my opinion? I'm not flaming or harming anyone.

With an anime as popular and viewed as Naruto, it becomes laughable that the animation is worse than DBZ. DBZ at least didn't recycle scenes like Naruto Crappuuden.

I'm not alone when I agree that Naruto is a shitfest, so why single me out?

Assertn, ody, take it to the Flame Pit or PMs or Bitching Thread or IRC or somewhere just quit going off-topic in Naruto threads. Seriously.

and, yeah, I think I have to agree with Kagari, they probably didn't intend for the entire part with naruto and Kakashi to be all in one minute, as he had to escape the spider jumpers and talk to Naruto about a plan...

Somehow, I doubt being a puppet lessens his overall chakra any. Otherwise it's a pretty big liability, so why do it? Basides, didn't the old woman say that puppets made from human bodies retain the bodies chakra?

It was pretty decent, I'm starting to have hope for Shipuuden now, especially since bleach is now stuck in filler hell. I always found Sasori's puppet form so creepy, and the lifeless eyes and his voice seem to make that effect. I'm also surprised that he wasn't pissed the 3rd kazekage, the puppet he worked the hardest to get, was destroyed, but i guess that comes with being ub3r calm.

I can't wait to see the next episode. XD
