    JUST STOP!!!

    Hello,

I have been a long time viewer of these forums and I enjoy reading comments of others on Naruto and all the likes and dislikes of episodes and how the series has been progressing. I have never wanted to write anything on the forums until today. In fact I signed up today, just so I could write. I am so sick and tired of people complaining about how slow the new Naruto Shippuuden series is going. Does nobody remember what happened in the last series? We had over several months of garbage fillers that were god awful and so cheesy. Do we really want this to happen again? I think its great that they are slowing down the series, it means that they actually care about the viewers opinion, since everyone raised hell when the fillers started to feel endless in the last series. So please unless you want to month after month of fillers just deal with the fact that the episodes are going to be slowed down. I have said what I wanted to say, good night and god bless.

Who of you also has a feeling that Sasori could be the sandaime kazekage? From the moment Hiruko's shell broke.

    Maybe far fetched

Blooth24,we r complaining that the series become so boring with the stretching and all we hope is that it'l be filling 1.5 or 2 mangas like before. do not forget that we watched fillers for more than 2 years so the manga is way ahead of us so it is not fair for all this waiting to make NS what we waited for so boring.

I would much rather have the episodes be released weekly, or even bi-weekly, if it means not trying to stretch one chapter of manga into a single episode. They of course wouldn't do this as they would lose a lot of advertising money. If they truely cared about the fans' opinions as you said, then they would be. Right now, its pretty obvious that they only care about the money their advertisements pull in when more people watch non-fillers.

Naruto fillers were better than these slow death episodes. At least you could tune out and do something else while watching filler, or skip it altogether if you wanted to. By them stretching it out like this, you still have to watch or you might miss the one or two relevant scenes in between several useless scenes of Naruto yelling or people standing around. I'd rather they paced normally, with a little filler like the Konoha Tourist Association bit, or stretch some scenes (preferably fight scenes), but what they are doing now is worse than the fillers.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

The main gripe about the Shippuuden is the fact that Kishimoto is fucking us in the ass with his golden pencil. We had to endure fillers for ten years only to ultimately have to deal with the same mindless, boring, uneventful bullshit. There has only been one episode that I've liked so far in the Shippuuden and that was the Itachi vs Naruto gang fight.

I was sadly disappointed with this episode because in the manga, Sakura and Chibi vs Sasori was fucking awesome and I couldn't wait for the animation when Sakura owns Sasori's puppet with a single punch. But it looked like they took a guy with Down's Syndrome and gave him a pencil and said, "Try to finish in five minutes."

Don't pin this on Kishimoto. He's an artist, we don't need him rushing his manga and ruining the story just so the anime can be produced. The anime is independent and he has no control over it's pacing or elaboration, as far as we know. Get a grip, get a life.

I like how Sasori just stand (or sits/lies depending on his position inside that dollthing) and waits for Sakura and the old she-geezer to talk things out, especially since being made to wait for things is quite high on his 'Things i really f-ing hate' list, as Deidara pointed out a few times.. just lol

Also, props to Naruto diving straight into a cliffwall...dude, awesome move!

It's all part of the plan, it's called "how can we stretch the series far enough without breaking it"

They decided to make him screw up even more, talk even more, be politically correct by saying he will be saving (?) a dead guy that only recently stopped killing people for fun, even more!

So that fly into the rock cliff thing was all part of it. It gave them time to think of a funny for the next episode ...

As much as we all dislike this slow pacing, there is always another solution. You could take time off of naruto, and instead pick up a new series and/or hobby to take your mind off of it. Then in about 5-6 months, start watching naruto again, but make sure you only download a few episodes a week so it doesnt run out too quick. This is what I am doing, for I can't bear to watch naruto like this.

I always remember how great it feels when you pick up a series for the first time that's been out for awhile.

In fact, Naruto was the first show I ever started getting off the internet. And it was in the 70s when I started watching it.

One of the best weeks ever. 70+ brand new episodes all at once.

this is the best Mizuchi post I've ever read!

Amidst this discussion, a one theme that has been re-occurring is complaining without trying any solutions. Take a break from Naruto, it ain't gonna kill you. Skip through the slow parts, you can always scan later if you're that curious. Go read the manga. Go watch another anime series. Go get a hobby.

That being said, I'm a little disappointed in this recent episode. The repetition is what kills me. I don't mind slow-pacing, not at all. But I don't need to hear Naruto saying the same one-liner and Chiyo and Sakura taking nearly 10 minutes to say, "We're going to attack him. He's inside the puppet and has upgraded some parts. Avoid his poision. I'll use my experience, you utilize the opportunity to finish him with your brute strength. Ready, break!"

I realize they're trying to ration out the manga material, but if in doing so you lower the quality of the resulting show, is it really worth it? Although, i will admit, i still approve of this current approach over two year-o-filler, but they can do better and shouldn't be afraid to break their 'one chapter per episode' rule when it's clear that they'd be better off just shoving two chapters into one episode and making it more exciting.

...the much-maligned needle scene was accurately summed up by DarthEnder: many beautifully excellent single shots, but the sheer repitition of these shot loops detracted heavilly. I also fault Sasori for such a weak battle strategy.

Humans are different from animals. We must die for a reason. Now is the time for us to regulate ourselves and reclaim our dignity. The one who holds endless potential and displays his strength and kindness to the world. Only mankind has God, a power that allows us to go above and beyond what we are now, a God that we call "possibility".

Don't give 'zuchi too much credit, he stole DB_Hunter's idea from a few posts before his. I'm going to try DB's idea, and hopefully get some enjoyment from Naruto anime again. Thanks, DB_Hunter!

That's what I'm doing, and it works excellently for me! Although to be honest it's just that I'm too lazy to download the new episodes when they come out every week. Yes that's right, I'm too lazy to double-click a torrent file once a week. That is correct.

I downloaded it last week and I just finally watched it today. Nice that we no longer have fillers but now I am not rushing back home to watch it like I used to.
I thought that when chiyo-baba was taking her hair clip down, she was gonna transform or something...but nooo~, she just succeeded in getting more hair in her eye.
And for the most impatient guy in the series so far, he was pretty patient & only 'complained' once, downright saint-like.

Is it just me or does Sakura's face looked effed-up here

    and here

With DB's history of crying wolf, does anybody think what they have posted on their site right now is true about some of their staff being arrested at otakon, and having various items seized?
