The idea seemed to be borrowed from Kekkaishi, but it is just horrible and unwanted. Also a few odd ball characters can make a series even better, but as of late there has been an over abundance, making the series pretty moronic and disorganized.

Even if it is just a filler, this is pretty sad. Hope it ends soon, If not so be it..............

Would have been better if they had centered around Rin investigating the Arrancars instead of adding the chef dude...
At least turn the damn random character into a hollow next time...
The clone hollow from several eps ago at least ate the girl and other souls...

curiosity got the best of me, and since I had the episode downloaded from when it first came out, i gave it a look today. I like Hanatarou and Yumichika, but that third ultra-feminine SS guy really pisses me off... i like how they had all the poofy guys in this episode, slavin' away in the kitchen...

I found myself chuckling at the sheer horribleness at occassional points in the episode. so bad it was almost, and i stress the almost, good. as said, curry of life arc compressed into one episode...

Rin is a character originally created by Kubo Tite for the Bleach-Fan Japanese Bleach news site as a mascot. He regularly interacts with Ichigo's seiyū in brief video segments on the site. Later, he was brought into the manga and anime as one of Hiyosu's assistants. He has an obsession with candy and any other sort of sweets, jumping at the chance to visit the real world just to buy sweets unavailable in Soul Society

    Question : Same voice ?
Is the person behind Sandal'n hat is the same behind Kurz Weber from Full Metal Panic ?
    Just wondering.

Indeed Shinichiro Miki did that guy as well as Urahara. He was also excellent as Creed in Black Cat (horrible anime tho), Morin Shetland in Last Exile, Shannon in Scrapped Princess and Allen in Escaflowne. He's also some guy named Kojiro who has appeared in like every single Pokemon thing ever.

What about this episode finally clued you in to who else he is? (personally, I love Urahara, but I didn't really notice the voice actor until Black Cat)

I thought it was good. I'm into cooking. I like cake.

BUT DAMN THAT CRAP WAS CRAP!

He also did the voice of Takumi from Initial D.

Damn. When the chief's mother said "I can't eat cakes anymore", I had suddenly a feeling that the end of this filler would at least be decent. Too bad I was wrong. His mother wasn't on a diet as I thought, and he didn't turn into a hollow.

Btw, I'll probably never watch a filler with cooking involved again.

All cooking fillers are infamously horrible.
