    Code-E & Mission-E

Some group named T-T just released the first episode. I don't know, I might wait for another group, unless someone says they're decent

The story of Code E deals with a new female highschool transfer student who has the strange ability to disrupt electronic equipment.

Original Concept and Script by Sakaki Ichirou

I don't know about this one, it's kinda funny, but seems empty to me. Maybe if the girl grows some through her dealing with the science kid it'll make it more worth while.

Not really feeling this one. I generally dont like the main character (both guy and girl) types. I mean a weird geek with strange powers and a science geek? The purpose of science is to make people happy? That line urged me to hit my head on my LCD monitor.

Its not that I completely disagree, but it just sounds too dumb.

Just watched the whole series, any of you guys watched it completely?

I thought it was a nice little series, nothing particularly special or extraordinary... but a decent short series with some slice of life moments and routine school life moments. I thought it get better after each episode, when orgaizations and spies started to go after her and her powers. But it's a fun show to watch when you got nothing else to watch, for those who enjoy the genre... a show that is mostly a feel good story. The last episode was really good in my opinion. A much better anime than I expected when I decided to give it a try.

Here's the whole series, just 12 episodes:

With that said, there's a sequel coming up this summer called Mission-E, and it looks like there'll be more action in the series. It seems to take place 5 years after this anime. There's a trailer on this page, http://avexmovie.jp/lineup/mission-e/ and it looks good... might be worth watching this prequel just so you can give the sequel a try. I certainly think that the people that enjoyed the Nanoha series would enjoy this a bit.

If you put it that way, then maybe I'll need to have a look. Thanks for the heads-up.

Well, this is not a mahou shoujo show... but I think the interaction of the school life might be something those who liked Nanoha can appreciate. And then when you consider how the sequel will be more action oriented, it starts to ressemble Nanoha a bit, with chicks with super powers going around on missions, etc.

oh so there is going to be a sequel to this? cause i always thought there wear things left unanswerd like the twins.
Favorite Gotwoot Mod moment: "Why is everyone in that show black? The art and music are pretty good, and the voice acting is alrite as well......but i can't stand that guy who follows afro around. Hes so, well, black, for the lack of a better term (well thats not true, there is a better term, but i wont use it here)" Assassin

Lol, so someone actually watched this show...

I myself have questions about the twins, and they left a huge cliffhanger with Mils; we don't know if she died or not. Or did I miss anything?

I thought Kotaro died at the end, but bah. Only the German girl died.

If I had to judge the second series based on this I don't think I would watch it. This one was almost deadly with such boring characters and a superficial plot with better elements only hinted of but never used. The comparison to Nanoha was vastly unjustified (I can tell because I just rewatched the first two Nanoha seasons). It'll take much to make me watch the second season after this.

The only good thing about this was that there at least weren't any really bad details in it.

Actually, the Nanoha comparison is spot on, unless you didn't read my post after yours before you started watching or you confused which anime I was comparing it to. I hinted at the possibility that the sequel might be enjoyed by Nanoha people (a bit). I also compared the slice of life, school life aspects of the shows (the prequel)... and they're pretty much alike in that aspect. You remove the mahou shoujo from Nanoha, and all you have left is this prequel. Also, I mentioned Nanoha more towards the sequel than the prequel because I think it'll have a bit more mahou shoujo-like elements on it.

Sorry for getting your hopes up... but I said it was nothing special or extraordinary, just routine school life moments, etc. and slice of life that always has the potential to be boring or refreshing depending on who's watching.

Oh, sorry. I didn't anymore reread your old post, and mistakenly remembered you called this first season similar to Nanoha when writing my post.

First episode of the sequel, Mission-E, was released by oom:

I just watched it, and enjoyed it quite a bit for the time being. At least the action was quite well done in my opinion, and it seems will have a decent dosage of it through the rest of the series. Hopefully the plot will be good as it keeps developing.

They made a second season? The first had a crappy enough ending, why'd they want to continue it?

Did it ever cross your mind that it had a crappy ending because it wasn't the conclusion of the series?

So DS, you still watching this series? I just caught up and it has been fairly entertaining. Admitedly I was expecting better from this season, but I still find it more enjoyable than the first one in my opinion. I think Ebihara is worse this time around though, but Ma-chan makes up for it.
