I've been watching this series, and like you, I fear this will have a zero development ending. The whole series kind of smells like that.

I'm with you there. If by episode 2 you still can't figure out who this kid is going to end up with, seek help. (Of course, they could add a real twist to the story... but we all know that isn't going to happen.)

I think what Kraco was saying with a zero development ending is that nothing major will really change, and they will all end up the happy island family that they are after a ton of episodes. I usually hate those things, but comedy is decent enough to follow.
