the custom level editor alone is worth the upgrade.
I only wish it came out 3 years ago.

Shaking the Wiimote lets you do smash attacks. There, you've got your "Wii experience". I'm sticking to using my Wavebird.Originally Posted by masamuneehs

My dream of making a stage consisting of nothing but a big 'ol ladder down the middle of a massive room was stomped upon by the game's insistence that I have a "floor".the custom level editor alone is worth the upgrade.
I stuck 4 blocks down at the bottom to satisfy the requirement, but still...not quite the same .
I wish I had wireless so I could download the awesome ones I know will be soon to come.

<@Terra> he told me this, "man actually meeting terra is so fucking big", and he started crying. Then he bought me hot dogs
God damn, this great maze is taking forever.
yo anyone made it to the final boss yet? how the fuck u avoid its freakin circle of doom?! lol
Been working on various other things....
I beat most of the first 20 event modes on hard, the rest on normal...
Also did some of the challenges involving targets and home-run contest.

As far as I can tell, you can't. At least at relatively low percentages you can survive the attack by air dodging to cancel some of your momentum. Just slap a bunch of weapon stickers on fox and blast the hell out of him.Originally Posted by deadlydreamx

We should start a gotwoot tourney or something. the only bad thing about online is that it is 2min matches and the rules are only able to be customized in friend matches and its kinda laggy. but still we should play
Yeah, a tournament would be a fun thing to organize in a week or two when everyone (in the U.S.) who's probably going to get the game will have the game.
Me and my friend just played through the 20 co-op event matches on Hard. We played until about 4 in the morning, but just couldn't beat the last one where you have to beat every character. It's a son of a bitch. Should probably come back to it when we're not so tired.
Also got 2,011 feet on the Homerun contest using Yoshi and DK simultaneously. I'm sure we could do better on that too.

well if anybody wants get some friendlys goin im usually on after work at about 10 pm on till like 2. its kinda hard to get matches so i stay on for a while but yeah lets brawl sometime
'Kay, I've added the friend codes that I've read so far into the first post.
I haven't been using the Wii that I'll be using regularly, so I'll add mine in later. Has anyone else tried playing online?

I have the first day it was nigh impossible to do, but now I can usually get one on the first or second try.
There's usually a 3/8 of a second delay give or take between the action you want to do.

You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individuals. To that end each of us must work for his own improvement, and at the same time share a general responsibility for all humanity, our particular duty being to aid those to whom we think we can be most useful. -Marie Curie
The delay online is very difficult to get used to.
ok good, it's not my speed either then
The actual gameplay was fine, it was just that each attack seemed buffered by a second or so.
I can't fucking beat the Event Match where you have to "climb" DK's stage as Zelda. I swear I must have tried it at least 40 times and can only get up to the bit where the bi-plane appears.
I also had trouble with the other DK-stage event match, where you have to beat Lucario and Sheik. It's just that stage. I hate it so much. It's even worse than the Ice Climber's stage from Melee, only more obnoxious because of the traps.

I cleared most of the event matches on hard....and then got bored of the "you vs all the hidden characters!!" events they kept giving me in the last batch, so I just finished those up on easy. Fortunately, for the ones that matter (ie. challenge rewards), I completed them on hard.
Now I get the pleasure of beating classic mode, boss mode, and all-star mode with all 35ish characters.... :|

Weird I had the exact same problems only took me about 6 tries max though and yeah I agree with you that stage just sucks.Originally Posted by XanBcoo
Snake, Olimar and Rob are just unplayable I don't even know why they are in the game I'm sure they could have got some better characters to fill those slots.Originally Posted by Assertn

Sapphire is awesome!
Are you using Zelda's teleport? I only failed that mission once when I teleported into the large spike above one of the bridges. As long as you know where you're going and aim the teleport properly, it should be fairly easy.
You can't jump your way up, Zelda is far too floaty and slow for that. By the time she lands from a jump you'll be at the bottom of the screen. Effective movement with Zelda is always about teleporting.
