He had all these abilities since his first appearance in Super Mario World. Blue shells gave him wings until he swallowed it, red spat three fireballs, yellow was super stomp, green did nothing.
Bunch of really awesome updates since last time. Not sure if I'm digging Diddy's special moves. They seem a bit complicated. I guess I'm just not in agreement with the whole charging factor. But he's probably really fun to play anyway.
Today's 1st update is gonna mean trouble for some hardcore fans. Messing with Mario's move list? It could work, but there will be so much whining.
2nd update is great! I'm gonna love the flying-type Pokemon stage.

But Mario's watergun pushes opponents "a great distance." If you time it just right, and have everyone near the edge of a small stage (Like old Mario Bros or Game&Watch stages in Melee), or close enough to the ledges, you could kill three opponents in one shot. Even not near a ledge, you could cram them into a corner and throw a mine, shove them all into a mine already laid. It's probably blows back thrown items as well.
Who cares if that changes his move list. There's too much potential in that new move.

Water gun knocking captain falcon off the stage followed by a cape when he attempts to up+B back up == instant death.
Mario's tornado sucked. Dr Mario's tornado, however, was pretty decent.

After I get my driver's license, I'll save up some money for Wii. And it's great that I can use my GC controllers, I just need to my GC back. I played SSBM all the time on GC.
Can't wait to try ZS Samus, Wario and Snake.
I made sure I got a Wii before the Christmas season starts winding up. I have a feeling that if you don't buy it as a bundle soon, you won't be able to find them at all around late October. I picked up a bare bones bundle (Wii sports and Wii Play). I've still yet to see one in an actual store.
Come December 5th, if you don't already own a Wii, chances are you won't find one.
Zelda all the way for me. Though ZS Samus will be the first one I try to unlock.
I'm more interested in Pit and Meta Knight. Kirby was always appealing to me, aside from his definite lack of speed, and Meta Knight seems to be shaping up to be a faster, more mobile version of Kirby. Pit's just cool 'cause of the gliding thing.
Personally I hope Mario's water gun has ridiculously long range. Getting blasted by that thing from across the stage would be crazy.
