Personally, I haven't shortened Mangekyou Sharingan once in this thread, but I still think you're making a deal of this. I know someone with TB, but every time I see that acronym, I don't start telling people not to use it. You're being a bit too sensitive about this, especially since "MS" is a pretty legitimate shortcut to writing out a particularly long foreign word. I agree it works in this context as well. He either said it literally to taunt Itachi, or he was hinting at something not yet revealed to the viewers. What that could be though, I guess we'll find out. In any case, I still don't buy that Itachi's afraid of him having Mangekyou Sharingan.I kinda assumed Kakashi's "how bad has your eyesight become" question was metaphorical, as a way to reveal that Itachi has neglected to notice something.
Yes, but he's not deducing the effect of Mangekyou based on his experiences with his own Sharingan. He figured them out for the reasons he stated in the episode. He could have been dead wrong, but Itachi's reaction clarified this reasoning.
